Awful customer service

I tried both calling and web chatting both were awful! 2nd time web chatting I asked for a supervisor only to be told not available lead me to believe nonexistent. I was told over and over they couldn’t verify my identity so they just closed my account without a by your leave. No explanation Why, no reasons, nothing. Then when I tried to call customer service, they asked for social security and birth date ok fine except oh gee my account is closed goodbye.......click. Not even a chance to talk to a live person. Very disappointed in this company

I used this app a few times while I was between banks for some payroll checks. It worked just fine. Now I am dealing with a collections agency Ingo hired accusing me of of attempting to deposit a fraudulent check. The check is from a large corporate payroll so it’s absurd. I’m amazed Apple allows these thieves on the App Store.

The app is a little clunky but the last update smoothed out a lot of the process on my iPhone SE. appreciate that, INGO. My previous experiences almost kept me from trying it again, but looks like your designers/programmers made it a better user experience. Keep it up please and thank you.

I love it I have a card my job puts my pay check on, don't have bank account. It's kinda of a pre paid set up but this app does make it easy to deposit checks on to it and has feature to get instantly. It does cost 5$ but if you need it's worth it to do from where ever in minutes.
Great in theory. Frustrating in practice.

I switched to a bank that unfortunately does not have a local branch, so I am using this app in the meantime until my direct deposit kicks in. Unfortunately, my bank doesn’t allow me to link my debit card to Ingo, so I went with my PayPal account so I could at least access money through my PayPal debit card. The requirements of what they ask you to write on the back of the check are not clear or available in the app, and both times I attempted to deposit my payroll check, it has been declined. I had to make multiple attempts before they finally approved them. The last stage of approval is disconcerting: you required to write “VOID” on the check and snap a photo. That’s great and all, but there’s no indication that Ingo is guaranteed to approve the deposit. What happens if they decline? I would need to go back to my employer and ask for a new check. In the end, I love what this app is trying to do. I just wish they could do it better.

After using for a couple of years without problem today I attempted to use to deposit a refund check from the State of Louisiana. Rejected deposit then closed my account for suspicious deposit activity. Oh well you lost a customer that always used immediate deposit and paid you the fee.
