Charging a subscription for a calendar, ludicrous . You paying the developer a subscription for a calendar, stupid. And to the previous response from the developer regarding subscription based apps like this becoming the norm. It’s thanks to idiots paying subscriptions. You win Mr. Developer.
Disappointed!

I had to bite the bullet and subscribe as my old version would no longer sync with google calendar. This version freezes regularly and has a non intuitive and clunky user interface. I will say that Support has been very responsive so far. I don’t mind paying (and have paid for many versions since it came out), but it NEEDS to work! Continue to be even more disappointed and quite frankly ripped off. The previous (4)version WORKED. This one does not. Too hard to even launch my calendar and see what’s on it..

This app includes everything with regard to staying organized with your schedule. I also appreciate having the ability to ‘customize’ it the way that I need and I appreciate the features that are offered. It’s visually attractive and very seamless to use.

I have used Pocket Informant (now Informant) since 2010. The newest inception is a major step backwards. First of all, the time picker for an Event is horrible. It is a scroll wheel that is fiddly and difficult to use, not to mention it is in one minute increments which makes it even more fiddly. You have to double check the time entered because it has a tendency to “drift.” Why they got away from a simple entering of the time by keypad, I do not know. Also, entering an event can take up to 20 seconds. Push to bring up menu. Wait several seconds for the screen to appear, them use the time wheel (on both start and end time if it goes past your default end time). Furthermore, the new interface makes no sense and actually adds an extra step to get to the calendars/tasks, etc. The app just seems bloated; tags, calendars, keywords, triggers.I guess these are needed for GTD or Covey followers but if you need a simple calendar with tasks, I would not recommend. And until they fix the time picker, I would not recommend at all.

I didn’t find informant 5 worth the upgrade from an already paid for app to subscription base payment for each module.

It’s just wayyyyyyy toooo expensive!!! I love everything about this app. One stop shop!!! I’ve been using this app since inception. RIP pocket informant, the good old days when it was free.
Iphone x day view not working

When going into focused view or day view the bottom appointments or tasks bounce below the bottom panel so you cant read them or mark complete. Please fix

This is overall a great app, and I use the week view all the time and love it. However, the last update is resulting in very weird looking icons at the bottom. I’m sure an update will be coming, but not fast enough!
