The worst developers
ElVadim

Update: I received a response from the developers that a new version that would incorporate iOS 14 widgets would be forthcoming. Waited, checked for updates, and still nothing. I guess their one part-time coder has better things to do. I still feel that this app is a scam after the company was bought out. The updates are painfully slow, and they introduce new bugs more often than fixing previous ones (I still get false alarms when setting an appointment while traveling in a different time zone). Original: Just a warning to future buyers of this app: Informant is buggy and development of new features is very slow. Look elsewhere. I loved earlier versions of Pocket Informant. The version 5 came out, with a new pricing structure. There were lots of bugs, and it took a long time for the developers to fix some (not all) of them. One of their updates broke the iOS 13 widget function. Now, it’s been months since iOS 14 introduced the home screen widget, and the best Informant can do is fix the old bug that kept the pre-iOS 14 widget from working. It’s been months and they can’t implement something most apps accomplished right away. In short, spend your money elsewhere.

IOS 14.5 killed pocket informant
saclark1

I'm gonna have a use your pocket informant and have been for many years. I also pay annually for the subscription service for thinking content to my other devices, location status etc. I do believe I was just recently billed for my annual subscription. In my opinion, it's been the best calendar/tasks/contacts integrated package available. I upgraded my iPhone X this morning to iOS 14.5. Upon completion I went through the drill of checking my other applications to make sure they all worked and found that informant does not ! States the developer needs to update the app in order for it to work on this new iOS version. This is very disheartening as I've already paid for my subscription renewal and your other application in the store called informant five is a stripped-down version of what I had. In the past I've given it a full five stars in a very commendable review however unless they fix this rather soon, I will give it a one or less stars and pass the word around as I also had many colleagues hitch their wagon to your app over the past few yearsAnd will notify them accordingly

Pocket Informant does not work with iOS 14.5.
Robin10102

My calendar is now bricked since updating to 14.5. Will not even open. No data is available. My iPhone message when trying to open Informant is that the developer of the app needs to update it to work with this version (14.5) of iOS.

Almost perfect
MarcAllan

So many great things about this app that work as intended in a beneficial way that no other all-in-one calendar/reminders app does. However, there are a few things that need modernization and GUI improvements. This is the 3rd party app I use more than any other app from the AppStore. So, it is definitely a download suggestion from me.

Paid for app, now I have to buy a subscription
Sophisticated Critic

I paid for the app, used it, and liked it. But with latest upgrade, I am locked out of my old data and can’t access it without a paid subscription. No warning. It’s like ransomware, pay us or lose your information. No serious business treats their customers this way.

Updated ISO and now not working.
jemiljusa

Seems to be a known issue. Been using your app for YEARS and was always my go to calendar. What happened? Update ISO and now not working. Very frustrating to have so much data, appointments and much more that I can not access now! It’s things like this that make me never want to trust these apps and technology now a days. What do I do now to use app??

Bad Widget
KrisMartin51

What you had for widget was great it was informative easy to use this new thing you have is terrible I can’t emphasize enough that is terrible and a very big disappointment.

Couldn’t Get it to Work
Superpal123

I give up! Purchased the app with a yearly subscription option, then spent the following 3 hours trying sign into the app and sync my existing calendar info into the app. No success! Finally gave up, asking for a refund via both the Developer’s website and the Apple Store. Don’t want to mess with Technical Support or anything else. I JUST WANT A REFUND! After 3 hours of wasted time, I deleted the app with the hope of a refund. We’ll see. Maybe you’ll have a better experience but I could not get this app to work. Can’t recommend it.

My Review
Marthai

Like the application. However, I noticed it does not automatically change to the current date on the outside of the app. You have to open the program for it to change.
