From Free to Too Expensive

When I originally downloaded the app it was free and worked well for the little functionality I used of it. At $25 a year just not worth it for me. Everything was working until I thanked my google password then I had to pay to sign in with new password, I will be deleting the app from my phone

The Best and only getting better!

This app is far and away the most capable and intuitive PIM app available. If you are a GTDer then this is the app for you. You will not be more productive than with this app. Love it. My hope is they continue to develop this app- I am comfortable with a subscription model if it means they stick around and continue to improve the product.

Transfer of data, a colossal failure

How can you not warn the users of the old app that it was going to be unusable??? Maybe a heads up to write down future appointments in case the data didn’t transfer, did that occur to anyone? I will have to spend half my tomorrow calling people to refill my calendar. This level of incompetence isn’t helping me decide to spend $25 on your new app.

Loved it but now I hate it

I had been using Informant 4 for years on my iPad and with the latest OS update I lost all of my data. I thought that it had been backing up properly but when I updated all was lost. I would liked to have had some warning from the developer that the current version would not be compatible but no warning was sent (It did pick up a backup from 2017). Now that it has gone subscription based (I did purchase it to try to get my data back), I will be migrating to another service that I can trust with my data and not just be concerned with getting my money.

Once a great app, now unworkable

I was an early adopter of this app. It was great at first, but has become hardly useable. Sync issues are the main problem. It amazes me that this company cannot correct these issues. My calendar now has 5 duplicated events for each day going back nine years. I am done with this buggy app. I switched to Google Calendar, and I am pleased with it. My communications with the customer support group has not helped.

No more Evernote sync???

Wow, really guys, now Evernote integration is officially unsupported?? So now unable to sync notes to Informant? This was one of the things I used with your calendar

I have used this app since the palm pilot years because I needed the task and calendar functionality. Most important feature is the ability to prioritize and to schedule future and repeating periodic tasks. I have been using some version of this app for more than 10 years (maybe almost 15?) Today I logged in to find my features on lock. It seemed to be asking for money to access my data. Apparently there was a subscription renewal needed??? It didn’t indicate that a renewal was due. Just locked up my data!!!! Look, that’s just tacky. I’m happy to pay the stupid (very reasonable) annual renewal fee for this very important tool. But send me an email or have a message that pops up that says it’s coming up and maybe mention that you don’t have valid form of payment. But don’t just lock it down midday without a warning. People who rely on these tools can’t tolerate that. Be better. Otherwise, very good app and I endorse it to others all the time.
