Link keep opening while scrolling

Jam3582

Can you guys fix this. Omg I’m trying to read an article for like 5 minutes but it keeps going to another link accidentally. This never happened on the app before. Please fix this. It’s a great app but now this brings down the appeal

Links proving problematic despite loving the content.

Duke Compton

The links in articles are simply too easy to press. While scrolling through an article if your finger happens to touch a link it will immediately go to it. It doesn’t seem to know the difference between and actually finger tap and a finger being held down to scroll. Otherwise I really do love the app and it’s content.

Swipes bad

Greenzombie04

App swipes left and right when trying to swipe down. Only app I have that does this

Good But Could Be Better

Custom Notifications According To Users Interests Is The Finishing Touch This Apps Needs.

Needs Dark Mode improvements

Hahwuzufn

Using Dark Mode on iOS makes body text of articles impossible to read. Several settings are unable to be read as well. No option to change this in app.

Works well. Too well.

The IGN app works really well for viewing mobile sized versions of their articles and videos. The issue comes in whenever you try to scroll up or down on an article and come anywhere near one of their many, many hyperlinks to older posts dotted liberally throughout every single paragraph. Without fail, you will quickly be ushered over to said hyperlinked post that you possibly already read or at the very least didn’t want to read at that exact instant. No double clicking necessary. Barely even a click takes you there really. It’s incessantly annoying. Do you want to know what Jared Leto possibly thinks about Joaquin Phoenix playing a non juggalo Joker? Too bad, you’re going to find out anyway. What did Blizzard do this time to suppress free speech? While important, I really just want to finish watching this Diablo IV cinematic first, but what’s that? Oh I’m already four pages away from where I started because they’ve strategically positioned hyperlinks all over the page to really piss you off. Perfect. Guess I’ll read about why Winston from Overwatch is the real hero of the game. I assume this is done to inflate their views and game their advertisers into giving them more money. It’s dishonest and annoying. Until this is changed, my review (but not my page views) will remain.

Great app, but “connect with Facebook” button doesn’t work.

Huggy Bizzle

I really like the content and the look of the app. But my account with all of my saved articles is connected to Facebook. But when I try to tap the “connect with Facebook” button, it just doesn’t work and is unresponsive. I would love that if it were fixed so I could log into my account. Otherwise I really do enjoy the app.

Do it

While checking out how the ign app might be, click on “app support” right here on your iPhone, like, right now in the App Store.... ( I can’t make this any clearer unless I could show a screenshot), and see where the link takes ya... that’s how shi!y this app is!

App Itself Stinks

_Vices_

The app always signs me out on a consistent basis, and has a really annoying tendency to "click" hyperlinks when one is trying to scroll up or down a story in the app. And that is before considering that the quality of content on IGN has gone waaaayyyyyy down hill and that there are far superior sources for that type of content today. A special shout out though to the WNJW reviewer - white nationalist "justice" warrior - for giving me some laughs on a Monday morning by claiming that their mostly white staff is "racist against whites" ?

Broken... still

S.racr

This app crash, fails to load articles and freezes constantly. I don’t mind it in the concept it’s a great reason to stop using it and realize I’m just wasting time on worthless articles or reviews. But when I do actually want to read an article it’s beyond annoying that it is plagued with the same bad functionality for the past .... 2-3 years of not more. But when it fails it’s a good reminder of what IGN has become and is known for...
