I enjoy the content and have no qualms with IGN as a company — great source for games news and opinion pieces. However, I would recommend discontinuing user comments. The community is more toxic than ever — constant bickering and political debates on every post. It has degenerated so drastically as of recently. The community has proven that they can’t handle conversing with one another.

please fix your app, it works horribly. idk what the last update was but pages don’t load properly and it’s just a pain to use

Have to log back in every couple of days, and get no notifications regarding comments so I never know if someone replied without going to the web browser.

Love the content, but the app is glitchy

I think the content produced by IGN is great. But the app has been very glitchy. It frequently locks up when clicking on articles. Recently the videos do not play. Keep the great content coming, and allow us to access it with some bug fixes on you app. Have been using the app for years on android. Recently switched to iOS and have a lot of problems. Thanks!

When scrolling this app plays a different video then what the headline and picture shows about half the time. Or when scrolling down it will autoplay the same video under multiple different video headlines. I’ve never seen an update to fix this and this has been happening for a long time. Finally wrote a review about it. Hopefully it gets fixed. Other apps never have this problem.

This app has become garbage. Too often do I try to open an article only to be told it has to be viewed via a Web Browser. Particularly when it comes to the Holiday gift guides or similar articles. ALMOST ALL pictures show with the tops and bottoms cut off. And can’t “full screen” or zoom options. Also, not as consistently as the other issues the app will just not respond to scrolling up or down in an article or going back and forth between the main page and individual articles. I don’t think ign will try to fix these issues. I’m contemplating deleting the app. But unfortunately I can’t seem to find any alternative out there that covers games, movies, tech and more in one location.

Still no dark mode?

How can we be over a year with Dark Mode available across devices but no support within this app? Not to mention how sluggish the app is and that will will always get stuck on a video of played full screen. If these issues are addressed I’ll update this review.

I used to love IGN so much. Now, they have let themselves be taken over by the politics, particularly from the left. It wouldn’t be so bad if they were at least balanced. Entertainment is supposed to be a refuge from politics. This is sad, I have deleted your app and have no plans to return.
