Great app but freezes up.

Great app that I go onto everyday, but since I got new Iphone XI pro max it has been freezing up when I scroll through feed. Tried fully closing app and reinstalling app but still freezes up please fix bug. Still awesome app when it doesn’t freeze up. Will give 5Stars again when fixed. ??

Land mines

Please fix the links for other articles within the articles. I’m scrolling down and have to be careful where I start scrolling since simply placing my finger on one of those red links or even close to one immediately takes me to another article even without raising my finger off the screen of my device. Like the title dictates, it’s like scrolling through land mines. The one bug that’s really bugging me out.

I have been with IGN since 2004 & I’ve had the app for about as long as I have had an iPhone which is going on about 9-10 years now. I am about done with them. I’m tired of seeing people complain about what should be simple fixes & IGN never taking care of them. Problems such as app crashes, my account ALWAYS being signed out of, comments sections not loading, videos not going back vertical after viewing in full screen causing me to have to force close the app, etc, etc. I have never seen app developers neglect such annoying problems for as long as IGN has ignored these. All of this is just on top of their very biased political views & total PC video game reviews. As I said, I’m about done with IGN.

Hyperlink Bug

The hyperlink bug is extremely frustrating. Scrolling through and article and being randomly taken to another article at the slightest touch of a hyperlink really ruins the experience. I suspect it won’t be fixed and potentially was created on purpose because of the extra ad revenue and clicks per article. Shameful.

The user interface is terrible. I wanted to see reviews for different genres of ps4 games and you have ruined this app. Congratulations. I deleted it

Awful links

The sensitivity of the links within articles makes it impossible to read an article without being redirected to new ones every 5 seconds.

Non-stop ads that are exactly the same every time you want to watch a video. Right now it’s Best Buy for new iPhone. Pretty cool after the 15th time right? Also, every time I try to scroll down while reading an article the app keeps opening up another game in related to the current article I’m reading. Extremely annoying.

There is one thing that makes this app nearly unusable for me - when scrolling through an article if my finger presses a link to scroll, it will take that as ‘oh you want to view that link?’ Normally a browser knows when scrolling to not click a link unless it’s a quick tap, but not this app. Please fix.

Ever since they started making this app it has been... eeeehh. The web version loaded faster, etc. now the worst part about the latest version is the video play back. When entering into full screen the viewer does not have the ability to exit the app or do anything on their phone till the advert is completed. It locks the screen in landscape till it’s over. Transferring from landscape to portrait is always slow and you need to move it couple of times to get it back to portrait.

Please for the love of all that is holy fix how the slightest touch on text hyperlinks takes you to another article. It makes scrolling nearly impossible as you unavoidably come into contact with hyperlinks peppered throughout every page. This literally happens only with this app, and for the life of me I can’t understand how it has not been addressed yet as it is a terrible user experience.
