Broken Hyperlinks

Dustinj645

The hyperlinks are so sensitive that you cannot scroll on any page in the center because if you by happenstance touch a hyperlink then it automatically opens up to that page immediately.

Great but buggy

Mattytweaks

I love the app and use it everyday, but the constant crashes and freezes is so frustrating. Please fix this. Its been this way for years.

Needs one improvisational change

ThaKidRoc

The app works great, with all of a tech savvy’s gamers needs in one place. The one thing that needs reworking is that account login information is not stored any longer in the way that it used to be. Every so often on the iPhone and on the iPad Pro, I’ve had to consistently, what seems like every time that I access using the IGN.com app, sign into my profile and offer giving my personal information credentials.

Poor Design

Heroesandvillians67

This app works well, but the categories are WAY off. If you click under the “Games” tab to reveal video game reviews and content, about half of the articles show tv show reviews, movie trailers, and anime. It’s padded to show that IGN reviews more video game content than they actually do. Not sure what all the tabs are actually for with that being the case.

Broken Video/Ads system; unformatted text

Palpador Lupador

I will try to explain. The whole thing where you are supposed to get an ad before a video is really hit and miss. A lot of the time it works fine, but sometimes videos become unplayable and I give up or watch them on YouTube. But even when it works, it's a bad experience because while the switch between playing the ad and playing the video works well, it triggers the on screen video controls, leaving that the first couple of seconds of EVERY VIDEO is obscured until that times out. It's just shoddy. But the thing that really makes everything look like crap is what I believe is called unformatted text or maybe raw text that ends up in articles instead of an image or an inviting presentation. I think advertisers are paying for some of this, so I hope it bothers them. The sales alerts and buying guides are like word dumps. I just read a brand new article on there about the creator of Always Sunny in Philadelphia and something common happens there: the article includes a full quote of a tweet followed immediately by the same quote, as if the writer went mad and repeated themselves. Obviously, (based on what other sites do) somebody thought the second iteration of the tweet would be a complementary Twitter image, but it's not. Engaging users by making the clicked valuable to them is good business.

Miss Upcoming

Numurob

Great app but really wish they brought back there section of the app with upcoming stuff.
