Awesome app, but needs a few major enhancements

Taylor.Lynn

The concept of following along the speed and incline of an actual person and place is super immersive. Here are my major issues: - Speed deficit or fitness level options for “follow trainer”, please. There are many videos I would love to use “follow trainer” for, however they are just a bit too fast/advanced for my current fitness level. It would be nice to have different level of fitness options (I.e.: beginner, mid, advanced, actual speed) that automatically adjust the speed and incline for you based off the level. Currently, those who can’t keep up with the trainer’s pace are forced to manually change the speeds / inclines throughout the workout in attempts to match the trainer; it’s super annoying and actually keeps me from trying more exercises. We are all paying for this feature, regardless of fitness level, so making it useable for a wider audience would be nice. - There’s currently no way to search videos by exercise type; I still can’t believe this function doesn’t exist. I have to spend too much time searching through the browse section to find a specific exercise type. There should be a way to search all walking videos, hiking videos, etc. - No video control. If you have to quit an exercise mid-way or the app crashes, there is no way to fast forward to where you were. This is beyond frustrating.

Doesn’t work with S22I Studio bike

Ravenesque72

The S22i doesn’t have Bluetooth capability. Since the bike is connected via WiFi one would think they could figure out comparability.

Almost a perfect app

Finn56789

Love the app. Enjoy the trainers and videos BUT please add a search capability to look for videos easier. A break down of length of videos, trainers, in studio, outdoor, etc. would be great. It takes time to look through videos to decide what you want to do.

Frustratingly behind on technology

Writing My Peaceful Life

I honestly can not believe you can not search for workout. I “follow trainer” but then can not see the trainer and their videos anyway. I have no way to find the series that I began to follow and just have to hope it pops up in the main screen (and about 80% of the time it does, but when It doesn’t I have to choose something else). I cant schedule the next ride in the series because i can’t find it. They don’t even have a way to search for rides based on fitness level. Perhaps I am just technically challenged and there is a way to do these things? I can’t even find these things on the phone app!

It’s only ok

Like many have previously stated (and developer seems to be unwilling to acknowledge), app lacks several features that would make it worth the price. Can not restart a workout where you left off if you have to stop in the middle (can’t even fast-forward through a workout). Can’t actually search workouts based on certain characteristics (ie, intensity, distance, time, type of workout). If you start a series, you will constantly have to browse through workouts to find the next one in the series. No easy way to manage scheduling of workouts (can’t move or delete a workout easily). I actually cancelled my membership because I simply can’t justify paying $400 a year for 2 people to use this platform. Too many other higher quality services out there.

Broke my treadmill and no support

ValerieB4242

I tried to update the firmware on my treadmill (as advised by the app), but halfway through the update the app said ‘unable to update’. Now I can’t get my treadmill to turn on or work at all. The only way to contact support is through the app, waiting times were 2+ hours, and the app kept timing out and making me resubmit my issues from the beginning all over again. Now I have a worthless hunk of metal in my basement. I never should have tried to connect the app to my machine.

Doesn’t work with Row Machine

Gluten-Free

I just purchased a NordicTrack Rower 900 for $1700 which also came with a 1 year iFit membership, but unfortunately the rower doesn’t have Bluetooth (huh? It’s 2020...) so I’m not even able to get through the app set-up even though I have a membership since the app “can’t connect to my machine” during set up.

Useless

Adam1106

I have an iFit membership and a brand new commercial line treadmill with iFit on it but this forces you to sync to the treadmill over Bluetooth which doesn’t work with mine. My biggest disappointment is that I simply want to be able to look at my ifit stats and maybe even be able to use my membership when I’m away from my home machine. If I have an active membership then who cares if I am running on a certain model treadmill that can sync over Bluetooth vs running outside! The app makes you sync over Bluetooth before you can even see any info. At this point it is highly unlikely that I will be renewing my iFit membership next year unless the usability drastically improves.

Need Search/Filter Functionality

Matt828828

I use this with a NordicTrack. I didn’t think I’d use this at all, but in the month I’ve had it I have missed an iFit workout. I love it! Big problem with the app. There is no search/filter functionality on the workouts. I spend too much time searching for a workout that fits my distance/speed/type/intensity parameters. Finding the next workout in the series is even difficult because I have to scroll for five minutes before I find what I want. Fix this and it’d be an easy 5 stars.

Amazing app

Rogayou

Operating great and really controlling the machine automatically.
