Fix your issues with your app. Can’t even sign into the thing as it says wrong password . Reset twice now and still wrong password.. fix your app I’ll fix my rating on you

I love the Hum. It gives me peace of mind driving because I can see at a glance whether my vehicle is performing as it should. I love it also gives me an exact reading of my gas mileage. Also where the best value in gas. I have no complaints.

Don’t waste your money

I purchased the HUM device through Verizon about 6 months ago. Recently my check engine light came on but the app didn’t report any issues. When I took my car into the dealership they told me that the reason the check engine light was on was BECAUSE of the HUM device continuously cycling diagnostics on the car’s CPU! Which is not healthy for the vehicle and I’m lucky it didn’t do any damage to the car’s CPU. So I just paid $130 for the dealership’s CPU diagnostic test to tell me that HUM’s CPU diagnostics was the issue, ridiculous! I also was in a car accident back in June and the HUM app did nothing in alerting emergency services; or helping in any way in an emergency situation, off the side of the highway, in the middle of no where, in Kansas. Don’t waste your money on this app that basically is only good as a GPS. I’ll definitely be contacting HUM and Verizon asking for my money back and to cover the costs I was charged by the dealership. They are lucky nothing major happened to my vehicle. Don’t buy this product because something major might happen to your vehicle!

11/13/19. They called today saying the problem was fixed. Nope. Now hum says 5-6 days for a return call. I did call Verizon and they extended the “warranty” to 30 days so I don’t have to pay a restocking fee. Verizon was really good about it all. 11/12/19. I will update if something changes I’ve used it on my car and loved it. I decided to put one on my truck. Verizon assured me if would allow both vehicles on the app The truck shows up, the car no longer does. 2 phone calls later, they call me from tech support today saying it’s fixed. It’s not, I call back after work, now tech support has to call me again. I really have doubts now. And Verizon will charge a restocking fee. iPhone 7. iOS 13.


Google Assistant

not as good as storm

Hum had a good app until google assistant came along, I don’t have google assistant and won’t have Hum if it keeps asking me to set it up!

This is a waste of money!! Never worked correctly with my phone. Even when I got “updates” from HUM, it showed it was not working!! When I had an accident, did HUM alert anyone??? NO! Now it has been disconnected, and I still get messages from HUM showing no activity!! Really?? It is working as good after being disconnected as it did before!!

This product doesn’t work. Says my vehicle is still parked at home when I’m at work. I’ve had problems since I first got it. When I contact customer service it’s always the same thing. Unplug and the device and replug it in. Or we’re sending a signal to fix the problem. Then the same problems happen again. Have the same problems with my wife’s vehicle. Don’t waste your time or your money.
