The camera in their app wouldn’t work and couldn’t get past the selfie so cool

This app is horrific and so messy. First of all the management and service is disrespectful. They signed me out of my old account that was linked to my instagram so I had to create a new one. Vina management refused to take down my account that I no longer have access to. I followed all their steps and provided information enough for them to show the account is mine. They keep up your account without you having access to it. And secondly vina purposely doesn’t show you people who swipe on you in the swiping feature because they don’t want you to have matches. They let all your matches pile up so you’re tempted to pay for their subscription which is not even worth the money for the horrible layout and effectiveness their app has. They don’t show you anyone who’s swiped on you and only show people who are not swiping on you. Therefore it’s very rare for you to get matched or even create a friendship. Lastly their notifications are nonexistent. Even when you have the notifications turned on none are received which discourages people from coming on the app to check up on matches and conversations. The majority of people on there forget about the app and never return once they message you. The people on there are horrible too. Very low quality and bland people on the app with no personality or anything that makes a good friend. Vina allows bullying against other members by vina communities. I’ve had multiple altercations with people on the app being rude and disrespectful. Overall I would say steer far from this app. I’ve been using this app long enough to know that it doesn't work and you’re better off finding friends on the streets. Vina please just delete your entire existence! Please and thank you.

People here are not really serious on finding a friendship they’re are looking for a texting buddy I wasted years in this app thinking I’ll come across some genuine people but I didn’t.

Overall I really love the concept of the app and that it is initially free, but am frustrated that I have to pay to even see people that are interested in being my friend. This is yet another obstacle for women that want to make friends but don’t have the money or aren’t willing to pay to have them. I love all of the features of this app, but don’t want to spend money to make new friends, yanno?

I’m surprised at all the amazing reviews. Yes, the app is nice and so is the concept but you literally have to pay to see the gals that would like to meet you. As a broke college student, I can’t afford to give this subscription a try, especially without even knowing if I’ll actually meet a friend. From what I’ve heard, people ghost you often on this app, and I wouldn’t want my money to go to that.

This app has a lot of potential. But there a few problems I have. This app is for WOMEN, and I’m seeing that there are a lot of shady profiles coming up on my feed. I think to avoid talking to creeps (men posing as women), maybe there can be a way you can verify yourself by taking a real photo. These suspicious accounts only have one photo or it looks like all the photos are screenshots that are from someone else. Also, I am not getting the notifications for my app when they are clearly turned on, I end up missing out on messages from other Vinas. I see that the developers haven’t had an update for this app I’m over 7 months. Not sure if they’re still working on it or not ? Other than that, I really love how the app lets you create meet up events and activities to meet other ladies in person. I hope to see more from this app

I’m so glad I didn’t pay for a longer subscription to this app! There are very few people on here and most in their 20s, who can’t stand not being the center of someone’s attention for a minute. I was hoping to meet some other professional women near my age who are no longer mingling in college, at the bars, or at their kid’s schools for new acquaintances, not scrolling through folks’ left over tinder photos like the Scarecrow (searching for a brain).

Why can’t I take a pic to verify who I am???

I’m at the point in the sign up where I have to take a selfie to match my profile pic and the camera on the app isn’t working, it’s just a black screen, I tested out my regular camera and it works fine but when I return to the app it still doesn’t work, what can I do???
