Day Two - issue with getting to the app interface

Disappointed-angry

I am unable to login. The app states I do not have an account. Yet when I go to create a new account other app states an account already exists. Not off to a good start.

What’s the point?

naaaaaaaannnnn

I don’t see the point in trying an app that has minimal user participation. The company is dumb to lock the messaging feature. I paid $6 for one week for one response from 10 matches only to get the conversation dropped. Every profile indicates Snapchat or insta handles so everyone unsafely can talk on other social media’s. There is literally no point to this app unless you want to pay bougie prices for a very unlikely match.

UI/UX could be improved.

Jlireyn

I never know how to use this app. The UI is just unattractive and should be simplified. It’s just not easy to use and I think this is why hardly anyone replies to messages. You get in and get confused and give up. Areas needing improvement: -Show their age with the name please. I’m confused. - make the display picture bigger. It loads slowly but the first pic is what draws us in. -Show their neighborhood w the city. I find a lot of people who live an hour away. Too far. -Increase ease by not having us have to click on the profile to see more. Do like bumble and just let us scroll down. - I don’t know what the images mean in the top of the main profile. Use words. This isn’t as important as their full bio. Idc if someone is an early bird or a night owl. Put that at the end of the profile. Move up the guilty pleasure and describing self by emoji, these are good conversation starters. -the communities don’t need words. The pictures are obvious and thus takes up a lot of space -the automatic messaging of matches makes the inbox a mess. Let us filter for recents etc.

Great design choices, Some Functionality Suggestions

MochaChocaLocaa

Love the app so far! Very cute design and love the graphics they chose. The quizzes are surprisingly accurate and helpful when finding new people to connect with. Suggestions: - Please enable notifications for messaging. I turned them on in my phone’s settings but I still don’t know when someone responds to a message. - The ability to link to social media, Spotify, Apple Music etc would be cool so you could get a better feel for what someone’s into. Keep up the great work! :)

Quizzes are awful and ruined my profile

Dating Girl

Great idea for an app, but the quizzes are really shallow based on emojis or pics of celebs, so they don’t describe who you really are. Once you take a quiz, the results are stuck there and you can’t hide them. They really need to allow you to hide the results or share them because I feel my matches will not be authentic to who I am as a person to meet friends. The quizzes are based off choices of 4 pics or emojis to describe yourself…the personality quizzes are poorly designed. I deleted the app just because there was no way to take off the quiz results which I felt would give people the wrong impression of me to make new friends. Yellow for “spiritual aura”? What?! We are all spiritual beings…why some people get earth and other planets based on emojis and coffee or tea choices is beyond me. I swear the quizzes are really immature and make the app matches seem more superficial than it probably was intended to be. Please allow to take off quiz results on profile if people happen to take them out of curiosity. They aren’t fun and you are forced to pick choices that aren’t really you.

It glitches and too many men

QuietSunset

I like the app but it glitches a lot and closes the app and then I have log in all over again. Also, too many men. It tells us to report them but it seems like the reporting blocking doesn’t help. Please I suggest those issues get fixed. I’m on the app to find like minded ladies like myself not horny men who end up ruining the good name of the app.

Too expensive

Kiana Karahalis

Paid $30.00 to chat to other women and another $30.00 to see my dittos, after doing that I realized that many of my dittos are from the next state over, kinda close if you have a car…but I don’t and I don’t have a license either so it was a HUGE waste of money. Disappointed.

Charge for App Not Service

U_thot

I initially loved this app. Just wish you paid a flat rate for the app and not a subscription plan. I want a friend not another Bill in order to find a friend..

This app has brought me so much joy!

lazyfoodie4713

So there are definitely some bugs to be worked out like inconsistent notifications, etc. BUT I have met so many amazing women and I will say this app has brought me SO. MUCH. JOY!! I had just recently moved to the area and was having a hard time making friends with a deployed boyfriend and a busy life as a nurse. If you’re looking for like minded girl friends you found your app! Still not tons of people using it in my area ?‍♀️ but I would absolutely recommend it to anyone feeling like they need some girls in their life! All I can say is thank you thank you thank you to the Hey! VINA app.

Why am I seeing people I swiped left on

aileenfishie

Why do I keep seeing people I swiped left on or seeing that they swiped right on me. I’m trying to make friends on here and I swiped left because they’re either way too far or way out of my age range. The few people I have tried to talk to either gave me one word answers throughout the whole conversation or simply didn’t respond. Waste of time.
