The game can be a lot of fun to play and it has many options, but there are problems regarding the fairness of a game. Generally, it can be said that if a player has legendary cards that fit into his deck the chances of winning a game are higher. These legendary cards are very difficult to get and the more card packs you acquire the sooner you will have some of those cards. Another major issue can be questlines/quests. They are sometimes very effective and can finish games quickly. New stuff has to be tested against older stuff, that is older meta decks must be able to win against new meta decks. Many control decks will now have a difficult time. ***** An epic neutral core card (e.g. Costs 3, 2 Attack, 3 Health) with ‘Discover a card in your deck’ would really improve the game ***** Home other issues: Wild mode needs to be changed and some kind of control should be introduced. If I lose a game in a Solo Adventure, I do not want to start at the beginning, I want to play the same game again. Many boss enemies are overpowered, a two mana advantage is unfair, one mana is enough … Good Luck! Paul. Redling

Not everyone wants to pay to start over every 3 months when you decide to invent a new set of rules. Endlessly frustrating. You don’t really need the skills if you’re ready to put up the cash. Pay to win or be crushed. This bloated game isn’t worth the space it takes up on your phone.
Shadow word void needs removal.

Every time I play duels and face a priest and they play shadow word void it is immediately over. There is nothing that you can do if you can’t counter it when played.

The game is fun. The app is trash.

I used to play the regular mode. Now all I play is battlegrounds. They are both fun for different reasons though I’d say the former has plenty of issues (most notably pay-to-win type stuff). All and all, the game is fun but that is not the issue. The issue is that this game runs like trash on my iPad with constant freezing (often at the most crucial times) and the increasingly sizable download. It says it’s about 2.5GB on the download page but it is actually closer to 6GB. As a result, I am constantly in a battle with my IPad storage whenever a new update comes out and bloats the size of the game further. It has now gotten to the point that I can only play on my computer, because my IPad can no longer fit this CARD GAME even with only the essential apps on my system. Whenever I start a new battlegrounds game I have to pray that the game doesn’t freeze on the character select screen. If it does freeze, I have to restart the app, and by the time the app has restarted and sets me back in the game, I am so far behind that it is basically fruitless to continue. I wish they would separate the game modes into different apps. Or maybe if they could just make a lighter version of the game (one that actually works most of the time) I would be happy. But for now, Hearthstone gets two stars on IOS. Also, Blizzard, I see that you only ask me to rate when I win matches, doesn’t change the fact that the app is held together with silly string.

I’ve been playing the game for years. The pay model for cards and collection was getting ridiculous. I stopped spending for cards and just play battlegrounds now. It’s their best mode and it’s free to play . Best part, I don’t have to spend any money to play .

I’ve got so much money tied into this game. It was wonderful at first. Then Blizzard decided to make the game so one dimensional. All the classes have been made virtually unbeatable. They’ve gotten around that by making sure you “randomly” get the worst possible draws. Your opponents will need certain cards to deliver the killing blow and they ALWAYS have it. I’ve sat through several hands and have gotten THE EXACT SAME CARDS(which should be statistically impossible) and when I complained about that flaw I got nowhere. I wish I could get my money back from Blizzard but that’s never going to happen. Worse yet is all the TIME that’s been wasted while they’ve ruined a game I loved. Quests now make sure you lose quicker. The Hunter quest is so easy it’s pathetic. They had to outlaw one of the Guldan quests because you’d lose in four rounds. And that in itself is the problem. No one wants to lose. So Blizzard set out to make sure you don’t. Money grab after money grab. Go play something else. Anything else. These people don’t respect the original fans. They’ve destroyed a great game from within.
