Great app

Dhenejskebrns

Absolutely love habitica. It helps keep me on track with pretty much everything now. However, while the idea is super fun and the website really useful, the app itself is really buggy. I've even gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall the app, but the bugs are still there. The website knows I'm in a party, but the app can't seem to figure it out.

Gamify things you want done

I use the dailies to track waking up early and working out. I also use the todos. It’s nice that the app syncs with the desktop site.

Too buggy

Mizzmusic11

I've had this app for a long time and it never used to be this buggy. But now it's way too unusable. Until it's fixed I think I'm going to need to delete the app.

Great app but buggy

Yeasin I.

It’s a great app and I’ve been using it for months now. It helped get my life on track and become better organized. However, the app is buggy. There are often shows double or triple of items and pets even though the user should only have one. Another aspect is that if you check off your tasks you’ve completed yesterday it’ll sometimes reset the number. But besides that, it’s a great app. I recommend it

I USED to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this app. I got several friends into it, and I use it everyday. Recently it’s been so absolutely glitchy that I can can almost not stand it, and it’s become almost literally useless. I used to say if I had to pick ONE app forever, this would be it, and if it actually worked, I’d still want it. JUNK. WORTHLESS. SO INCREDIBLY GLITCHY IT’S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. And this comes from someone who absolutely loved it, and is still hoping they might figure it out and actually make it worth it. Till then, don’t waste your time.

Love this app! But would change one thing.

I would really like if the App did one thing differently. Right now if I set myself a reminder to say “sweep the floors” on every Tuesday, that’s great unless something pops up and I don’t get to actually sweeping the floor that day. What I would like is an option to delay that chore or task for one day. That way I could just delay it and still be reminded to get the task done the following day. I would also not have to change the task itself so next week it will still be reminded on Tuesday when I’m actually supposed to do the sweeping. Love the app, thanks!

This is an amazing idea!

This is the only game i will tolerate on my phone because it boosts my productivity rather than impeding it. I have successfully used to to form new good habits and break bad ones. Surprisingly effective! The downside is that there are some glitches that happen every now and again but if you log out and log back in those usually go away. Other than that it would be nice if gems were more attainable without purchasing. Right now, it takes a miracle to procure any gems without paying a dollar. It would be nice if it was only very difficult such as being able to trade 1000 gold coins or so for a gem.

Favorite app I've found in a while

Coons7

Genuinely motivating my friends and I to accomplish our goals. Requires a little imagination, discipline, and "DIY" style rule making, but I like it that way. Great app.

Love the app

Apps been great so far, even got a subscription and bought some gems, but i was in a party doing a quest and it just vanished and now the party section is glitching bad, if you click it it starts to auto scroll and doesnt stop until you close the app, fix this bug please and ill update to 5 stars.

Simply the Best To Do App

I downloaded Habitica because the concept made me smile. I run a small studio and the idea of a RPG-themed to do list app seemed delightful. I had no idea what a positive impact Habitica would have on my life overall. I’ve never had any problem getting my work done. But chronically feeling under-paid and unrewarded? This is the only job I’ve ever wanted and it pays my bills... but that’s it. I’m not complaining! I know I’m lucky. But sometimes (like when friends are going away on vacations or seem to have money to burn) it can be hard. Habitica is my own small but meaningful (to me) way to be rewarded for the long hours. I’m not stuck at some soulless job... and now I feel like I even have some extra perks at the end of every successful day.
