I would love to know when I can use my new iPhone with this software. I can use beta software at my own risk, but the software won’t even load on a new device. We’ve had beta software for a long time, so there isn’t a sound reason, unless it’s the FDA, that should keep me from using this. I have to agree with others, the development pace is slow. UPDATE: It works on beta 3 of 12.1 on my iPhone XS Max now. No update to the Medtronic software.

I’m not sure how Medtronic could release it. It doesn’t see my transmitter. Ever!!! It would be awesome to be able to sync the data from the CGM in real-time and not need to link thru the glucose meter. Plus to be able to pull up data on the screen would be awesome! But not with this app... it flat out doesn’t work! If you want to manage your CGM via your iPhone, looks like Dexcom’s G6 is the way to go.

The app when searching just freezes. The Bluetooth on the sensor only stays on for 5 seconds if lucky.

Followed the instructions perfectly, tried about 10 times. The app will not pair with my guardian sensor. Called Medtronic and they stated this app does not work with the 670G because it’s “not needed”, since the pump connects to the sensor. Nowhere in the app’s description does it tell you that it’s not 670G compatible. The feature to automatically send my info to Carelink, and be able to review all my info on a phone would be awesome, but apparently it’s “not needed”. DexCom’s sensor connects to both their receiver and a phone simultaneously, not to mention 95% less calibrations and warnings. Medtronic has not kept up. Time to switch!

While the “user manual” says you can delete events entered incorrectly; it doesn’t say HOW! I still haven’t found a way to do this. Also, sometimes the times I enter for a manual event post at different times, like an hour off.

So if I look at the info/specs on this app in the App Store it says “works on this iPhone”. Then, I touch “open” and I get an error message saying “unfortunately the app does not work with your device”. Someone please explain!!!!!

I’ve been trying to connect to this app since last night and it makes me sad that it’s just not working out. :( I hope sometime time in the near future it will until then goodbye.

Will not connect to Guardian 3 transmitter that comes with the 670g?!? If Medtronic is going to have 2 “Guardian 3” CGM devices, they should make a clearer distinction between the two. Nowhere on the Medtronic site could I find this is not compatible, so like many others I was excited to try this app, but just wasted time trying to sync up my transmitter without any success.
