My dad had bought this card for my brother and I set it up for him under my name we just wanted to use the amount that was on the card after finding out that there is a $7-8 fee every month I tried calling customer service to close the account... that was useless. I called 12 TIMES! And was never able to get a hold of anyone I don’t even care about the money left on the card I just need to close the account! Can someone please get back to me!!

Highly upset how long it takes for the direct deposit. Hasn’t posted to my account when my company shows me my check but where’s the money in my account??? ?

I’ve been a Green Dot account holder since 2013 and it’s always been simple and efficient. It’s a great service to have as an alternative to a standard bank account. I have never had issues with it! The Cash Back card is great! Green Dot has a lot of benefits for a pre-paid checking account.

Recently got a gift card from this company. Came to register it and it’s very inconvenient. Constant crashes, over priced fee’s and time consuming is one of the biggest problems. Overall don’t recommend anyone getting the app
I can’t do mobile deposits

I have deposited over $150 in my account and met all requirements to do mobile deposit and it keeps saying we need to get to know alittle more about you to do the mobile deposit for a check. I called you guys and they told me I should be able it and now all of a sudden they tell me there’s an error on my app and technical support was going to call me and has yet to do so I don’t understand what’s the problem with you guys

Cannot order anything online .. cannot use app tells me to log in online like what’s the point of getting a card if i wasn’t going to b able to use it online ?!!!

I tried multiple times to make an online purchase and it’s not allowing me because there’s a problem with my card... It says my card balance is $40 dollars but when I try to buy something it does not get paid for. The card is not allowing any payment to be made...? This is a rip-off. I wouldn’t advise you to get this card
