And another one

Aye Q

It’s cool for what it is along with duo if you want to “FaceTime and or “IMessage with an android user. Not nearly as safe, private or good as the real deal though.

Sound issue

marygg1102

I've used Google messaging apps for years. I like Allo and how fun it is. My only gripe, really, and the only thing preventing me from giving it five stars - is that it breaks through do not disturb. My phone is on do not disturb like 70% of the time, and the notification sound (not the banner) always breaks through. I turned off notification sounds in general for the app, but now I won't be able to rely on sound notification for it if I have my phone volume on.

I HATE the in-app browser...

Snaver

Like all google apps, this opens all links in google’s stupid in-app browser, rather than an external browser, so that google can track everything your doing, thus losing all automatic logins, tools, etc. that the external browser has.

Awful mistakes

Now “Chat”? ?Google

RCS is not the future. It won’t be able to compete with iMessage or Whatsapp. I’m done with you Google, changing messaging apps like you change underwear. It’s over.

Notification Sound Problem

Safya malik

The notification sound is too low and sometimes would not sound at all. I also would love to see the option to delete your texts from every party’s phone like in “Viber” app.

I Love Allo but...

Come on, Google. You have the funds, technology, and manpower to make this app optimized for the iPad Pro. This is the only reason why I am giving it 1-star. It is pure laziness to not have an app optimized for the #1 tablet.
