Sure I guess

jlinscyt

It does the bear minimum and refuses to change.

Doesn’t make sense

Olinsguitar

Out of the dozens of kindle books I’ve read only two are recognized on this app plus a book I’ve never read, it seems this app is just a sales gimmick.

Well written

Dayswalters

The author does a great job placing the reader in the time and situation. It’s easy to empathize with the characters, especially with everything that’s happening now.

Lacks a NO list feature

Don'tWantToType

It’s useful for seeing what’s out there and keep track of what I want, but I also don’t want, to read. I have created a ‘shelf’ for a NO list but those books that I don’t ever want to read appear in my “want to read” list along with those I cannot wait to read. I must have a NO list. I don’t want to read reviews all over again or pick up the same books again and again just to realize those are NOT the ones I want to read. Anyone else?

UPDATE THE UI!!!

saainnnnnn

This app has a horrendous user interface and design. It feels outdated by at least 5 years. It’s time for the people behind the app to redesign it. If it weren’t for the helpful community reviews I would have stopped using this awful app and website (which is also outdated).

PLEASE UPDATE

Lisa555210

This app is good for readers but needs to many updates it’s crazy. 1. I can’t like or save lists to keep track of them 2. I can’t filter books by multiple genres or categories so I can find other books that are similar to something else I liked for me to read 3. I follow authors but it doesn’t seem to keep track of them, nor can I even see who the ones I’m following in one place 4. I can’t have a private list still 5. The interface feels very 2009 still and really clunky to use. It could really use a more modern or sleek update. Please consider some of these suggestions. I have researched and it seems a lot of users feels the same way about the frustrations/issues I mentioned above. ? Booklists are now gone for me with this new update and no longer recommended under book comments. Have they been removed all together or is it a glitch?

I like this app but…

Why can’t you access the giveaways page on the iOS app???

Incredible Platform in need of Update

atadbitmoore

As an avid reader who enjoys the feedback, suggestions, and creative reviews of other readers, Goodreads should be the perfect social platform. I enjoy using it, but I am consistently frustrated at the glitches, lack of consistency to updates, and general outdated feel of this app. It’s shocking to me that Amazon, for all its ingenuity and innovation in every other area, owns this app and hasn’t given it the update that a platform like this or its users deserve.

The Best Advise

Jechanter

This book was simply the best advise I have ever received from anyone about dating, relationships, or marriage. To know where Pastor Todd came from and be able to relate to him in this manner was a big help. Plus reading this felt like taking to a friend who has been there and done that. I didn’t feel like I was being preached to at all. Thank God for that. I could definitely read it again and more than likely will. I feel hopeful for my future as a single person who is strengthening her relationship with the creator, falling in love with herself for the first time, and hoping to find a life long partner.

Perfect App for readers

Stevoa1031

I have tried over the years to keep track of my books in various notebooks all of which I have lost track of at some point. This not only allows me to keep track of what I have read, but to keep track of what I want to read. And like everything else these days, the reviews are so helpful. Love it!
