Update in October.....app is STILL WORTHLESS!!!! Bus arrival times are still extremely INACCURATE!!! Go back to the original version and get rid of this garbage app!! My patience is gone!!!!! NO STARS, NO STARS, NO STARS!!!!! This new version they updated to is by far the worst app I have on my cell phone. It's useless. It's not as nice to navigate the city buss system now. Buss arrival times are way off! I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE this new app. I'm about to start driving again. GO BACK TO THE OLD APP AND FIRE THE MORON WHO UPDATED YOU TO THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEK THREE: still a sh#tty app!! NOT ONE BUS TIME ARRIVAL IS CORRECT!! Seriously about to cancel my pass and drive again.

The app was completely useless, but the new update fixed a lot. Still needs work but it is working now.

The latest update does correct the horrendous problem. When clicking at a bus stop it would show a list of buses near you had to scroll down to see the one that matters to you. The name implies it's still in " Beta" this application feel sluggish and slow. For example when clicking on the bus stop it would not load. I had to click two to three times in order to get the time arrivals. However, if you do not have the old version Version 3 something before going to 4. This new Version titled 4.0.1 is your best option at this time. Hopefully, Metro fixes its Bugs soon.

I miss the bus stops being on the maps now when I check for arrivals only a few buses show up not all of them. So only the bus I take often comes out which is nice but there’s other buses I’d like to see. Please put back the bus schedules on the map it was so much

But I don’t. It tells me which buses are coming...from the wrong side of the street: I’m going north, it tells me south. I’m going east, it tells me west. It actually more confusing than the previous versions which actually worked reliably. I type in a favorite bus line, and nothing happens. Can it. It’s awful. I use Moovit. It works well and reliably, although it’s a bit more cumbersome.

Do not update to 4.0 or 4.1

Revised Review Oct 20. I am not going to rehash my complaints from my previous review. There are some improvements in 4.1 from 4.0. But, it is apparent that the designers are not users of public transportation in Los Angeles. Go back to the last version of the 3.0 series. Appreciate what worked and why. Show some empathy for the users of this app, please. Consider posting a link where you can contact us directly. All of us giving negative reviews are not exaggerating our displeasure with this app. It’s not functional. I see a few good reviews. I don’t believe they are legitimate. Or, maybe their commutes are direct and do not require a combination of buses and trains. Even my regular bus drivers are familiar with the problems. And, they are often the recipient of complaints because of this app. Original Review from 4.0: I use this app several times a day to navigate public transportation between NE LA and Santa Monica. The previous version was clean looking, easy to quickly navigate, and fairly accurate with ETA's. Now, when I am at a bus stop, why do I want the numerous locations of the bus. At a minimum your current location should be at top. In addition, why do I need the bus routes of nearby routes? It's fine that they are there, but they should not interfere with your current location and inquiry. What is the point of the directions option. I guess if you are a tourist this may be helpful. But, the visual map already shows you the location. Finally, the ETA's are not accurate. For example, this morning the ETA for my bus stated 10 mins. It arrived as I was walking to the stop. The interaction design of this app is needlessly complicated. If somehow this new version grows on me, I will update the review.
