Doesn't work at all

Kayakscott3

It's worse than useless. Unbelievably bad. Wrong times. Confusing to navigate. It's hard to imagine how it could be more broken.

Confusing

!Sweet&sour!

This new update is confusing. You can’t refresh while looking at a bus stop timetable. Multiple lines come up when you tap a bus stop. It’s confusing needs to be more simplistic.

Even Worse

MorbidBlessing

Another update has crippled this application to the point of complete unusability. You cannot tell for which bus the schedule is being shown, and arrival times are 100% inaccurate. It tells you a bus is coming every minute for the next five minutes. Just worthless. Feedback has been provided to the developer, and it has not been fixed, or set back to the old version.

Absolutely Useless

TrenchBroom

This update was clearly influenced by someone who doesn't actually use the Metro, because it is nearly impossible to navigate. I honestly can't believe how bad it is. The multiple lines per stop is confusing enough on it's own, but then it goes one step further and doesn't tell you which direction the bus/train is going in. It merely lists some intersection/or far-flung bus yard on the other side of town where it ends. Who is supposed to know these weird intersections?! I've lived here for 12 years, know the city backwards and forwards, and I have no idea where 90% of these intersections are. Why on earth wouldn't you just throw in a cardinal direction, or at least an area (Santa Monica, Downtown, South LA, Hollywood) to indicate where a line is going? I understand the city and find this app useless. I can't imagine how hard it is for a foreign, heck, even an out of town tourist to use. Please fix this.

Not happy

This new app is horrible, as well as not accurate with its bus schedules

Slipping fast

It's a shame that was once a really solid app seems to be going downhill rather quickly. Other users have reported the problem with the bus stops suddenly disappearing on the map (the only fix I have found for that is to uninstall and reinstall -- quite the hassle), but I have also recently noticed that what is supposed to be real-time arrivals of buses is no longer always accurate. Buses often arrive up to 10 minutes later than what is listed on the app, which makes me suspect that they aren't really being tracked in real time, they have just become estimates. Add to that that some buses don't appear to have trackers at all and thus don't show up on the list, and you have an app that is really only of marginal value. [Update Oct 2017] - This app is now officially useless. They are flat-out lying to you: the app does NOT track the buses in real time. Whoever manages this for the county ought to be ashamed.

Complaint

Aniqjenkaishqkqoe

The new update to the App is so complicated and taking steps back. Like now it shows me more times for one bus and one said 1m other said 3m and none have passed. The one passing said 17m like wth I left my house early for this.

STILL USELESS! DO NOT INSTALL!

RRawpower

10/14/17 Despite ALL claims from these utterly clueless and incompetent developers, this update is STILL COMPLETELY USELESS AFTER MIDNIGHT!!!!!! Absolutely NO correct OR current arrival times show up at all: at 12:15 a.m. ONLY irrelevant early morning (5-6 a.m.) times are listed in version 4.0.1 I just tried checking out on my iPod Touch, while Go Metro 3.5.5 still on my iPhone IS showing correct AND current arrival times through the next hour. The bus stop locations on the map itself are also still an incredibly confusing mess UNLESS zoomed in to the max. At least they had enough sense to put back the conventional header destinations, bus stop numbers, and most crucially obvious by far ONLY the ACTUAL bus line(s) relevant to a given stop. But even without all that extrinsic nonsense, each and every click of a stop still takes at least FIVE times as long to load arrival times as the formerly instantaneous response. And eliminating the meaningless jumble of blue circles numbers would also appear to be another step in the right direction - pun intended. Yet what's the point of ANY secondary cosmetic changes at all as long as this app version STILL proves utterly unreliable after some time of night it FAILS TO SHOW ACTUAL TIMES which the older version manages to display perfectly well??!!! 9/7/17 review: Hard to believe yet another perfectly functioning app as Go Metro could become rendered as completely incomprehensible, misleading, and utterly USELESS as Microsoft also just managed this summer to do to Skype (effectively destroying the MOST essential function of a paid VOIP service). Bad enough this Metro update's seemingly spiffy design revision turns out to be both confusing AND misleading with NO apparent guide or Help section: as but one example, what are some new little blue circles numbers supposed to mean if not a route number as the Sunset #2 happens be the line closest to me. Not to mention virtually none of the bus stops near me correspond to their correct locations: quite literally all over the map! Then we discover not only that clicking any of those stops now takes at least five seconds to load that used to be instantaneous, but worst of all the results no longer show the SINGLE applicable bus line OR direction OR bus stop number!!! Instead two or more OTHER nearby bus lines are listed for NO apparent reason UNDER the selected bus stop location with some ridiculously lonnnnng list of INDIVIDUAL arrival times with "layover" and "yard" references that must be meaningless to ANY rider accustomed to YEARS of seeing the app and Nextrip online destinations correspond to ACTUAL bus headers! If LA residents can't possibly fathom such a garbled mess, one can only imagine tourists and other visitors even more bewildered by incorrectly concluding two or three or more lines DO stop at a location that has always had just one single line in this particular example. Of lesser immediate consequence, if no less haphazard, is the equally ridiculous oversized type of the user's stored favorites that also entails inordinate scrolling. More bothersome is that timetables and maps are no longer available for individual download, but apparently only by PAID option, which may well violate this PUBLIC service's obligation to provide such information in some form at no charge. Yet another confounding omission is the elimination of the actual bus stop number that also used to appear for a given stop: another detail I personally find essential since I rely on that reference to enter into the Metro Nextrip SMS texting alternative whenever I'm not near wifi as I don't have data service on my phone. While I couldn't be bothered to figure out how much more infuriating this version may be altogether, there can be absolutely no question whatsoever that whoever was irresponsible enough to spring this crap on an unsuspecting public most certainly NEVER took so much as a bus ride on the Metro system - let alone Metro management's sheer lack of plain common sense to consider such a clueless overhaul's real world ramifications that proper focus group and/or beta testing would have likely revealed BEFORE committing to such a defective release. At least I was fortunate enough to be able to restore my previous version of the app from iTunes as soon as I deleted this preposterous travesty.

Garbage update

Specks Morales

If I could give this update zero stars I would.. the update is garbage it doesn't give me accurate bus arrival times, it doesn't let me open windows to the bus stops I need.. and if it does by some miracle open it only gives me times that are 3 hours ahead which isn't helpful because I work in dtla and get out of work between 2-3 am I don't need to know at 5 am..

The new update is worse.

Before I use too click on a stop and only get the bus times for that stop. Now when I click on a stop it gives me the times for all the stops around me, making it pretty much useless. Especially when the opposite direction has the same bus line number. Also you use to be able to see future stops not just the most recent, not anymore. So disappointed I have to rely on google maps now.
