Sand and stars.

eashtoni

Sand and stars. The story is fiction but most of it feel real,The characters are poor plain refugees always on the run hiding. That’s why it feels real. The writer tells two tales weaving them in and out crossing at parts where the map and history touch. The visual descriptions flow with color bringing each scene alive easy to see the picture. This book has it all action adventure , mystery, and it is nonstop. Each page forces the reader to continue longing to know what happens next. I really enjoyed this book and the writer. Don’t miss this adventure.

Most 5 stars are for a book review! App doesn’t save progress!

Tish?33

There is no bookmark option and help says it automatically saves progress. NOT! When I jump out of the app to check weather, mail etc. it doesn’t go back to last page read! Unfortunately I only use for Harlequin books or I would be very upset! How can this app have 4 1/2 stars? ? I was reading current reviews and the 5 stars were for a book review!

Not a good reader.

Winston Crutchfield

Cannot tap to turn pages. Tries to add social features and push notifications- not desirable. IOS on my phone is the only way these books are even readable. No tablet formatting options. Windows or browser app forces you to scroll text and will not change chapters. No way to download books. Unfortunately it’s literally the only way to read my Harlequin library. I’m considering just rebuying my favorite books on another platform.

Reading on your phone... doesn’t work.

MegR94

I was pleased to see that the latest update FINALLY allows tap to turn pages. However, my tentative enthusiasm was quickly smashed. The new version does not work offline. I have the book I’m currently reading downloaded, but when I go to open it, the app screen is black with a white rectangle where the book cover should be. I’ve tried restarting the app, but the problem continues. What good is “tap to turn” if I can’t even access the book without data or wifi?

Worst App

Unhappy User 1,000,000,000

Run away from this APP. If I could give zero stars I would. This App consistently freezes and never remembers where you left off in a book. I’m deinstalling and will use my Kindle from now on.

As Time Goes By

Alice 53

Another excellent read by a beloved author who will be sorely missed.

Terrible reading app

SusanYSullivan

Resuming reading a book was a horrible experience. The book was slow to load. The app jumped around trying to locate my last read section. It did not sync from my iPhone to iPad. A blank screen would show different pages where it was going to resume but after 15-20 seconds, the book still hadn’t loaded. Very frustrating.

This reader needs reformatting ASAP

Apersson

I had previously read a book with no problem. Now I’m reading a new book and there are chunks of pages MISSING. Near the beginning of the story, lost 20 pages (!) including parts crucial to the story. Now I’m missing pages 211-220! What the heck? There are many other flaws in this reader but missing parts of any story is not excusable.

Harlequin strikes out again

THEriksen

Once again Harlequin selected a less than par app for their eReader. Try to turn the page - instead you end up highlighting paragraphs. Download books only to have them not available when you are offline. Search for key words and IF the word is found, the results are in some random order instead of page order. Terrible app, but I have too much invested in Harlequin with points to redeem to take my business elsewhere.
