This is one of the most well designed and simple apps out there, but it’s not finished. Lots of error messages, or simply nothing happens. Such a shame because there’s so much potential here. I’d pay money for this if it was complete.

This would be a great app! But, the notification feature and the place where you can add information about the plant do not work. It just loads and then says, “Uh oh! Something went wrong. Try again later.” It would be such a great app but it doesn’t work.

Great app but desperately needs an update

I love this and it’s so cute but it needs an update. It has the potential to be one of the best gardening apps with a little work.

Good concept and design, bad functionality

The weather search and location doesn’t work, and they’re missing some pretty common plants from their list (no pothos? None?) Fiddle leaf fig is only listed under its scientific name, and I have a feeling I’ll have to look up the scientific name of my tiger tooth aloe to see if they have it. A lot of the buttons within the app are dead ends, and will tell you “uh oh! Something went wrong!” But! I like the design of it, the concept is awesome. It just needs a lot of work.

It’s a great idea, but I tried several times to connect my weather location and it didn’t work. Then I began to add my plants and the database didn’t have Sweet Corn. I’m not sure how such a common plant couldn’t be in their database. Once manually adding my Sweet Corn, I tried to put a previous date of when I showed the corn and it would not take that date, so it only takes future dates. I would also like an option to write notes for future reminders. Too many hurdles in the first ten minutes of trying it and maybe too simple for what I’m looking for, so I deleted it and will be finding something else.

This app has super neat features however none of them seem to work... (i.e. setting any of the offered reminders, custom reminders, weather/location services, database, so yeah basically everything.) Hey Gardenía team, update your software please!

Most of the plants I buy are pretty common but don’t populate, so I’ve had to submit to have them added to the directory. It’s been over a year or so for many, and they still haven’t been added. And there’s a glitch when adding pictures and naming if you do it out of sequence. Overall the app is good to keep up with my plants.
