No info on common plants

aets1812

This app looked great and just what I was looking for. I downloaded it and started trying it out. I added three very common plants in midwestern gardens: a common peony, hydrangea, and hosta. They were in the database but the app didn’t have info for any of them.

Great UI. Features don’t work

I want to say this is my favorite garden app that I’ve seen. I like the simplicity and design. However, the reminders, notifications, and weather don’t work in the app. I get errors every time. I tried reinstalling, but same issue.

Nothing works and no plants in the database have info!

Why is this so highly rated??? Not a single aspect of this app works. How do you not have lilies, begonias, any succulents, any ferns?? I can’t even set a reminder, not even one!

Barely functional - don’t bother

There’s a need for a gardening app that consolidates all the public domain planting and care information, hardiness zones, pet warnings, provides a consolidated at-a-glance blooming calendar, allows for note taking and reminders, etc. This isn’t it. Yeah, it’s free, but it’s not worth your time.

Not for me

Idontknkw

I had to find out the scientific name of “cherry tomatoe” to find the plant. Only to find that even though the plant was in the database the information was completely empty. I tapped on “suggest” for them to add the info on this plant but got an error message. Weather feature didnt work....

Cool concept but broken

Can’t request. Can’t find location. Most plants I have there is no info.

No succulents

Very disappointed I couldn't find ANY of my plants on this app :(

Super buggy

Nothing seems to work right in this app. You can add plants but they are all listed by their scientific name and there isn’t a plant identifier built into the app so for most of my plants I had to first look up what their name is and then some plants just aren’t included in the app at all. At least the search and add worked because nothing else did, the weather feature wouldn’t search for my location and every time I tried to schedule anything for plant maintenance I just kept getting errors. I restarted my phone and made sure my iOS is up to date just to make sure it wasn’t just me. Unusable

Index of Plants too small

Amanda T. (MandaLynn)

I am an avid plant collector and use other apps to identify plants. I wanted an app to keep me on a schedule with plant care due to such a variety of needs in my collection. As I started to add plants, only maybe 1 in 20 were available to be selected. I used the common name as well as the species name and the botanical names but the index is much too small. There is an option to “add plant” but when selecting this option there is no response so I don’t know if that is functioning. Once the index has been expanded I will definitely try this app again.

Worthless

Downloaded twice and the app is worthless can’t get weather to work and there isn’t plants I’m looking for and it’s too much trouble to try and add them
