Really Nice

ElytraDust

I really like how things are more customizable, but I do have some suggestions. The custom reminder it would be nice to be able to rename, like for example one plant might be to clean leaves and one might be feeding my carnivorous plants and one could be for misting. Also the weather location feature doesn’t seem to be working for me. It would be also great if one of the reminder options could be every ___ years (like to repot). Other than that this app is super great for managing my houseplants especially with my ADHD. I love how many plant species are on here as well. The layout is really nice for a visual based person as well.

Broken Weather Feature

SGercken

Just starting out and the app and design looks great! The only thing I’ve noticed right off the bat is that the weather feature doesn’t work at all. That’s part of the reason I got the app, so I can keep track of humidity and how it’s affecting my plants. Id’y be great if it was fixed soon!

Love the Aesthetic but a Few Things

I have just started using this app and I love getting to make little profiles for my plants. I think the community tab is a great idea too; however, I really wish that there was a notes section for each of my plants so I can write down dates of small things that I have done like give it a new pot, placed it somewhere new, discovered a new sprout or color to the leaves, etc. It would be even better if there was a calendar view for all of the notes taken of the plants. I think this would be a feature that adds a lot of heart and utility to the app. Another note I would add is to update the plant catalog, although I am aware that there are many different plants and updating it to have a nearly everything would take a long process. Other than that, I look forward to using this app as my plant reminder and possibly journal in the future.

The idea is cute

Use the PLANTA app. Same concept but better put together. This app lacks a lot, feels like it was half finished and doesn’t have a lot of common plants or other terms for plants.

My favorite plant tracker so far!

I LIKE PINA COLADAS

There’s a lot I really love about this app. The interface is nice and easy to use, and I love that it has so many types of notification options (even custom ones!). However, it would be really nice to have a notes/journal section so that I can keep track of when I DID water/fertilize/etc. since I don’t necessarily do it at the same time I set a notification. Other things I love: the option to name your plants, the fact that most of their common names/scientific names are correct (I often find these mismatched on plant databases where entries aren’t validated), care quick guides for each entry. Overall, this has been my favorite of all the plant apps I’ve tried, and highly recommend it!

It’s ok

I really wish they would put a “notes” section. Also, with the fertilization I can put multiple reminds for different months. Only once or twice a month, I can’t select the months that I want. Another thing is, I wish they would save in information on the App. I recently had my phone restored and I uploaded the app again and EVERYTHING WAS GONE!

Wrong on some basic plants

The Sidewinder Three-Thousand

Seems like a nice app, but when a simple plant like a Money Tree (Pachira aquatica) isn’t in the database, it throws everything off. When you look up that plant by it’s Latin name, it shows up as a flowering plant called “Guiana-Chestnut”. I need my plant app to know more about plants than I do.

Wonderful idea

Catsighs

This would probably be awesome if I was growing a lot of houseplants, but I was really looking for an aid for updating flower beds in my Midwest yard (zone 5), and for planning vegetable, herb, and butterfly gardens. The information for carebon the included plants in nicely organized and the images are clear and have enough visual information to confirm plant identification. I do hope you will continue developing this app because I have garden windows in my future-after I make progress on my yard! Note that I could not load my location.

This app haven’t been updated in 2 years!!

DisneyRider

You can’t enter your location and is not working on the iPhone XR. You can enter plants but not your location. Pretty worthless.

Organizer? Hardly

Pitipuá

I downloaded this app expecting it did what the name promises, organizing. I wasted a whole aftrnoon painstakingly looking for scientific names of plants that wouldn’t appear any other way, only to find out many of them were not in the “extensive” database al all!! (Bell peppers! How could you not have bell peppers in a plant database?) once i entered the plants in my list, i realized that, that’s it! It’s a glorified list w pretty pictures. I could have done that in a piece of paper. No cross reference, no organizing by categories (ie. low water, high sun, edibles, etc). Worse even, the promised “weather” feature doesn’t work at all, which doesn’t make a difference since the “organizer” does not classify plants by growing climate. I’m glad i did not waste a penny in this waste of an app. I guess you get what you pay for...
