Best of it’s Genre

Lu. Dy.

This is easily the best game of it’s genre on the iPhone, I would highly recommend it to anyone! The amount of strategy required can be daunting but hey... that’s what these types of games are about. The economy side of it is crazy well thought out and the best thing about it is that you don’t have to pay to be good! Great job on this one Fishlabs!

Why you no work?

DaTimthy22

Why did the game devs stop updating, it made the game start dying overall great game, u should get it

Where’s the updates

Mavericken87

When are you guys going to add to the game?

The update craps out

JethroR88

The update kills use on iPad mini 1st gen Most of the community has dried up as the frustration mounts when maps fail to load. No longer a social game, now relocated to the game of a few loaners— sadly they offer x2 credit purchases but what are you buying but a broke game with no new features. Such potential such a good game in times past now just a glitchy game with little enjoyment.

Phenomenal Idea, decent execution, terrible upkeep. DON’T BUY

Buy or not

This game has so much potential. It easily could be a better version of classics like Clash of Clans, etc. Except it’s not. Unlike Supercell’s Clash of Clans (CoC), Galaxy on Fire alliances (GOFA) does not release constant updates keeping the game new and exciting. It is the same game, every day, every week, every month. Updates are rare, and they all just “fix” bugs. The idea is awesome! You control your own army, you take over (mostly inactive due to my first point) player’s planets, and you strive to be the strongest! Who doesn’t love a game like that?! The graphics are pretty good, but could be improved and are constant. Not all solar systems look the same! But, the upkeep and it’s lack of updates make the game dull and boring, it makes you want to uninstall it in a few weeks. The game has so much potential (more than other Galaxy on Fire games) but the developers don’t update it, even though they can (other Galaxy on Fire games are updated regularly). So, Fishlabs and Deep Silver, please PLEASE, update this game more! This is a DONT BUY, rated 1 star by me. PS. Fishlabs/Deep Silver, you received an email by me (Achlon W2 Prima Luce), please respond.

Game is dead

The developers have gave. Up on this game was a great game. Tell no real updates most servers are dead.

They killed it even faster.

Version 1.16, released on June 7th, 2018, is the first update to this game since October 28th, 2015... 2 years, 7 months, and 10 days ago. The game was slowing decaying during all that time, with more and more bugs breaking the game, making it borderline-unplayable, as more and more time passed. Then, finally, an update! Wow, the game is alive! (Shocking everyone who still plays and knows better.) "Small adjustments and maintenance work." Hmm... sounds like bug fixes! Great! This game sure needs those! Did they fix the global chat that disconnects every few minutes and randomly switches back and forth to a second global chat? Nope. Did they fix the star map that takes an incredibly long time to load, making active war (in a war game) next to impossible? Nope, loading as slowly as ever! So, no bug fixes. New bugs? Of course! The game launches fine, plays its little intro video, synchronizes everything it needs between my device and the server, says it's loading, progress bar right at the very end, and now crashes. Every single time. I can no longer even play. What a shame. I am one of the few dumb people who has actually spent thousands of dollars on this game over the years, and continued to spend money occasionally, on a game with virtually zero support, with apparent active development ending years ago. Now I can no longer spend money to keep this sinking ship afloat. I guess the developers must have wanted to kill it even faster. What could this update even be, if it breaks more, and fixes nothing? Well, I guess the company was required to push an update to comply with the GDPR (they already sent a pop-up to everyone in the game, once again displaying their usage policy and terms and conditions, I guess that legally wasn't enough). Somewhere along the line, they broke something, which seems typical for Fishlabs (it recently took them over a month to fix the AI-controlled Voids, which were working fine one day, and broken the next). I am playing on an iPad 4 running iOS 10.3.3. Not the newest model of iPad, not the newest version of iOS, sure. But both worked fine before. Now, I can't even play anymore. So, thanks for the unexpected update, Fishlabs! One final disappointment, for a game that had so much potential squandered by poor management decisions and a lack of investment. Thanks a lot. I'm sure you'll continue to take people's money though... you still host "Happy Hours" with discounts on credit packs for anyone remaining who is stupid enough to invest. Don't kid yourself, they'll fix nothing with the money that you give them. They had over two and a half years to fix all of the bugs plaguing this dying game, and what did they do? They broke it even more. Potential new players, stay far away!

Takes 10 Minutes to Load
