It really is a good game. I've been playing for a year, but anyone can just pick it up and catch up. It takes some time, but just give it a chance.

Me and my buddies love the game, but where are the updates? There's plenty of ideas from the players.

I am as a former player. I was Thirsty Fish in elite armada on server 2 (or maybe 1, I don't recall). I had some fun, but you have to deal with wallet warriors and the worst the internet has to offer (OLS, and related, looking at you). I finally had to retire from the game because it was too taxing on my sanity. If you are a starting player, you will be raped by experienced players over and over again. This is from some one who has played from before the spoils of war update, when alliances had no member cap(December 2012). It's your box standard pay to win game. It used to be fun, but now....it's just not.

This is a phenomenal game with many great ideas. I think if you guys did more work on this game, and didn't cut it off, people would come back and play it. Please do another update. I am begging you. Add new features, fix bugs. Do anything that will encourage players to come back and play because space is the final frontier; waiting to be conquered and inhabited by beings. Waiting for civilization. This game is a great depiction of every element. Through the Fanatical game play and the high paced action where you could lose everything by making one mistake. Or, you could make ends meet and create an unstoppable empire that is waiting to be crushed by someone more powerful than you. There's no rule book to this game. Complete freedom across military actions and expositions to conquer other planets in real time. Fish labs does an outstanding job with this. So please don't quit. Don't stop what you are doing. Don't cut off the game. I'm going to re download this game and anticipate another update. You guys are great. You have something really good going for yourselves here. Don't stop. Keep going. Continue to be what the fans know you can be. And don't make me feel like I'm wasting my time on this review. I appreciate all the hard work you guys have put into this game. Please make another update and get yourselves back on the right track.

I used to love this game. I was in a clan. I had my own little empire. I was waging war however I pleased. But after an update, everything I had was completely wiped. It was like I never had an account. After putting so much time into the game, having all of my progress destroyed was an inexcusable bug. I don't think I'm ever going to play this garbage again

It's similar to Sid Meier's Civilization.In Civilization,you fight on the earth,in GofA,you fight in the system.Battles are all about quantity,quality,luck movement and preparation.But it takes a long time before you can join a true war.
