Fusion 360
papa bless the memelord

I am a student in a engineering class and I find fusion 360 very helpful for getting an idea of the process of assembly and bringing your ideas to a sense of reality

Great resource
MCerda25

As a student I find fusion 360 a great asset and am grateful that I am able to use it as a student without a major expense

Glorified model viewer
Dig dog doo

This app doesn't actually do anything except show models that can be spun around, woo-hoo. What a waste of time

Why do I have to create a team or join a team in the first place? Secondly there is now explanation of even how to go about setting up a team so that I can use the app. I just want to be able to creat and most files with the app for printing and I cannot get any files into the program no matter what I try to do

Easy to use

Easy to use with very little knowledge.

Good for what it is but expect more...

This software works great for viewing designs on the go. If thats what you’re looking for, you have a 5 star product, though cloud integration could be flushed out more. However, from the industry leader, I expect more. There are other developers who are able to bring a nearly full featured 3D CAD to the iPad. Many people are wanting to transition away from their computers and over to their iPad Pro. I truly wish Fusion360 would go all in on the iPad and bring a full or even semi full featured F360 so those that desire it don’t have to bounce and import between different systems.

Easy to learn software
CNC biginer

I first started using fusion when I bought a CNC, it was easy to learn, and I’m pleased with all the features that it has for CNC.

Couldn’t use it
M@rshmallo

I saw that this was offered for hobbyists but that is just not true. Right off the bat I had to create an account. Fine, no problem. I sign in then, I have to create a team. Why? I downloaded this seeing other reviews, that I will mark as not helpful BTW, because I thought I can create this account then start using it. Bring in some artwork and see about making a 3D render of it, but no such simplicity in this app. Immediately requested account deletion. Not for me

Needs full IPad support

Only able to view models on iPad. That is fine for a phone but a tablet is easily powerful enough to render and do design work. It should be able to fully work on iPad.

Powerful and Affordable

I’d consider myself seasoned 3D cad user with experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Rhino, and SketchUp. Fusion has advanced so much in the past few years it’s actually beating SolidWorks in capabilities, ease of use and without question affordability.
