Not enough anime

This is a bad service. They don't have enough anime shows so guess what? They pad their catalog with crappy South Korean shows! How creepy and gross!! And they renew your subscription automatically. So beware.

I LOVE to watch the black butler but the thing I hate it is it says it's free but u have to pay 4.99$ or 7.99$ I hate that I mean it's good for the price but i just don't want to pay #no?

Don't like new app. Preferred the old one better should still be able to use older version or atleast have the option and new app won't work even when connected to wifi or not connected so seems like a waste of money to me now

UX logic issues include: * Sub/dub choices are not saved when viewing an anime. If i want subtitles I choose it for the episode but for following episodes it always defaults to English dub when viewing the series. There's no global sub/dub preference even as a workaround. * Disabling auto-play ruins episode progression. I have to exit the episode and view all episodes for the series to select the next one. I disable auto play because sometimes I fall asleep and have woken up with the entire series played. * No visual indicators on what episodes I've watched. I have to memorize what episode I've watched before trying to figure out the next episode to watch in the full episode list of the series. Bugs: * My history no longer populates and is likely a QA oversight. Occasionally the app crashes if I'm persistent at trying to view the history. * Free trial user registration not possible through this app or the website. I worked around it by simply buying a full sub/dub membership. Don't count on others to do this. I'll adjust my rating if issues above are addressed.

Great App but it's a data hog.

I've been a fan of Funimation for years now. I even pay the subscription fee. The last app has it's problems and I was happy to see this app come on board. Sure it has a few little problems that are all fixable and do not deter from the great animation you can watch. However, and this is a big however. It is a major data hog. I burnt through 80% of a 15 GB data plan streaming a 25 episode anime. I did this in less than one week watching them in 40 minute increments. I am sure that the data usage helps maintain its high-quality HD videos. But I tell you what. I barely burn through 10 GB in a month! watching movies in 40 minute increments on Netflix. Why 40 minute increments? I watch during my lunch time at work. Unfortunately this app will be deleted from my phone. Until which time the quality of resolution can be controlled by me. Until then you get two stars.

My biggest problem with this app is how long it takes to put out the dub episodes. Seriously if an anime has 700 plus episode and I can only watch 400 of them it's kinda of annoying and frustrating
Doesn't save history

Doesn't save my history from my iPad or s7 edge Doesn't have all the episodes for some anime, in specifically would be Kingdom. Season 2 is all messed up, even the title of the episodes are. This app is a disgrace especially when it's pretty expensive subscription. I just wish it would work.

I couldn't even start this app. After it downloaded it asked if I wanted the standard or premium membership after the trial, but no matter which one I chose it said nothing was available for purchase. Never even got to see what shows it had.
