App NON-FUNCTIONAL

beatnikguy

I made the mistake of actually attempting to use this app instead of the reader which accompanied the sensor. The app continuously tells me to check my glucose in 10 minutes as the sensor is non-functional. I’m on day three of this. The sensors are at a minimum $70 a piece for 14 days and now I have wasted that $70 that I cannot afford because an app was released that does not work and does not even attempt to work so thank you app developer for wasting my time wasting my money and screwing over my health. Have you heard of BETA TESTING?!

Not so great

Can not be used with another device. Alarm can not be silent or put on vibrate

NOT WORTH A PENNY

I called customer service because “lost signal “ alarm goes off constantly (5-8 times), including in the middle of the night and since early November of 2021, when I was diagnosed. Customer service performed all the checks and balances and said that the sensor was not communicating with the app and offered to send me a new sensor. I explained that this issue has been going on since I started using their system early November of 2021 and with all past sensors. The poor customer lady finally said that there was a problem with the app and I had to live with it or turned off alarms, which she did not recommend. Really? The reviews are poor for this product and I do not understand why doctors are recommending it to their patients! In my opinion this company needs to take the product of the market or hired competent programmers.

So inaccurate

Roku814

This is the only thing insurance covers, all night it goes off for lows (55 and under) when a finger stick is 100. This is suppose to ease my mind while my child sleeps but instead this is interrupting sleep and could dangerously effect if I went the the sensor (that guarantees 100% no finger stick) This is the third one in a row to be bad. It’s just crap

Mixed feelings

stressvector

I have such mixed feelings about this app. 1 notifications are all or nothing.. can’t you just do a silent notification then if I don’t acknowledge it in some amount of time then ding?? 2 so much better than the little meter I used to have and orders of magnitude better than sticking myself 3 do any of the developers have diabetes? I write software for a living and have diabetes.. a few simple changes could make it so much better.. for exam a simple email my dr my data would be awesome instead of having to use the other app. 4 for the love of god connect to apple health!!!

Hate the app

sony no baloney

I am having to turn this off at night so I can sleep, keep getting alarm notification saying sensor alarms not working. Unfortunately I can’t just turn off app and go back to my meter. Drs office wanted me to use Ap so they could get scans. What a pain

Needs lots of improvement

2003b

I was really excited when my dr told me about this app! I downloaded it, I really like the graphs it shows and stuff, but the beeping is so obnoxious. I can correct my high blood sugar, it takes a little while to go down, and it will obnoxiously keep beeping every stinking 5 minutes. Also..it always has an error..”report back In 10 mins to try again” I wait..and it does the same thing. The beeping atleast need to have a type of “vibrate” without the sound..

Poor

Not friendly tremors and worsened Bluetooth network. iPhone pro 12 max fail. I deleted app .

Stay with 14 day Libre not Libre 2

Texas A Big Place

My wife has been using the Libre 14-day since it came out. She had been buying them all this time at Walmart as Medicare did not cover them for Type 2. A few weeks ago Freestyle told her that she is now elgible with Medicare. She contacted a provider and told them she did not want the 14-day Libre 2. They sent them to her anyhow along with a new reader. We hooked it up to her iPhone using iOS 15.2. Now every 10-15 minutes there is an alarm that the sensor is not connected, scan sensor. She scans and sugar is fine. We disabled all the alerts and everything is fine. Now it works like the Libre at Medicares cost for the Libre 2. Freestyle really needs to work on their app. Depending on where you are, you do not want this loud noise going off. Like in a court room, an operating room or a movie theater.

What a horrible experience

I’ll echo what everyone else is saying. The obnoxious implementation of alarms make this virtually unusable. I have the app disabled now and I’ll switch to the reader for the remaining 6 sensors. If I can’t figure out how to remove the speaker in the reader then I may just go without until I can get switched back to the original 14 day. I tried the Dexcom before this and I never imagined I could get more annoyed but this is positively worse.
