Honestly if you buy this app then you already have bebop on or two , etc.. good luck But if you download the app & you have the intention to buy the bebop2 I don’t recommend, now there are far more better compacted drones with better features & same range of the price .. not to mention that the app is less than expectations,For example : 1- why I have to pay the full featured app while it can be only used to operate you expensive drone ( which I have paid for as well)! Not only that , follow me feature with payment , fly plan feature with payment... this is micky-mouce establishments policy not respected one! 2- in the old app version the drone record once start flying, why you have changed that feature in the new update !

l paid flight planner for android but after l see maps in turkey is blur,l download for my ipad same application but l cant use my paid flight planner for same account,apple devices google maps is open but for android maps is blur ,l wrote my problem to parrot but they didnt answer,now l try to fly with my parrot same as blind mode,for same account same device why l have to pay 2 times

When you plug your sky controller via cable to your device (phone or ipad) and turn both the controller and drone on, it should either connect automatically or at least the drone will show up as an option to connect with. Connecting to the drone's wifi is only necessary if you plan to fly without the sky controller, only device.

Pretty great app

The app is pretty awesome using my phone but for some reason with my i-pad it won’t let me use the follow me part and that’s what I want the most. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong but other then that this app and my new bebop2is the coolest thing I have purchased in a long time. Very happy with both.
Free Flight Pro Does Have Problems

There is two problems that it does have number 1 is it needs to show how many satellites that are connected on gps number 2 is The GPS accuracy needs to be updated the GPS is not that accurate at all otherwise I would’ve gave this app five stars
Parrot bebop first generation plus sky controller first generation

Only giving three stars. I keep having the same problem the sky controller keeps disconnecting to The Bieber I even went and set up username password for the drone tablet and the sky controller sky controller stays connected for one to three minutes and then it disconnects and will not reconnect software updates do not help resetting the drone reinstalling update software does not help. I have a $475 paperweight. The parrot will fly with just the tablet stays connected the whole time. Not sure what more to do...
App crashes

I think they could do a lot better with the app! For the past 5 flights now the app has crashed either connecting to the drone or during my mid flight! I’ve also had the video feed freeze on me and had to restart the app for the love video feed to get back on! Please fix these bugs!!
5 star for a beginner

This is my 1st drone so can’t really compare to other more expensive ones but for me it was easy has heck. Got my 1st one for Christmas 2016, needless to say it did a nose dive from about 200 feet up @ around 60 mph on hard surface 3 months later because I think I was on a 3G network on my parents in law farm (My fault). I us LTE when home. Bought another used one off of eBay 2 months later. Got a lot of Speer parts now for my 2nd bebop 2 LOL. Easy to use on my iPhone with controller, I’m going to see your 5 stars and up it to 5 golden stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, I love it

Let me start by saying this app doesn’t even deserve the one star and if I could rate it zero stars I would. I’m new to these apps and have been trying for two days now to get this ridiculous app to connect to my drone or even the sky controller. For some reason my Parrot Bebop drone says its connected to WiFi on my iPad but then on this app it says no drone connected and refuses to work. Not only that but the sky controller that goes with it says it’s connected on the iPad but then under states there is no WiFi and will not connect on the app. All the videos that are supposedly the guides to this toy say that both the drone and controller will automatically connect to the app which is not true what so ever. Also, when you go to the network section on the app I can’t change any setting, not even to name my network. Whoever the developers and quality assurance team is for this application is seriously lacking and I’m completely shocked they still have jobs.
