I really enjoy using this app it works beautifully I have owned my drone for three days now download the app before I made it home from Best Buy I pilot my drone more with my phone aka this app than my sky controller honestly FYI Parrot Bebop 2

Gallery will not open

I have downloaded the app 3 times now and the gallery will not open at all. Continues to just show the spinning loading symbol. I’ve taken my drone out several times thinking I was getting pictures but again unable to open my gallery at all on the app.

The Wi-Fi feed coming into my Apple iPad six generation is completely horrible. I’m assuming it’s videotaping in 1080i, but Wi-Fi feed to the tablet is 460. Is there any other tablets out there that will get a better reception? Without using a phone

Works except transfer is messed up.

I love the app and the features, but the transfer feature is messed up. It’s telling me I don’t have enough storage on my phone to transfer the file when I have over 45gb of available storage space on my phone. I guess I’m gonna have to screen record until the issue is fixed. Don’t let that deter you, just throwing it out as the only issue I know. Other than that, I love every feature and usage of the app and the bebop 2 is an amazing drone! Love that it has a feature like this!

Works great. Put your phone on airplane mode. Then turn on controller then pug in phone to controller then turn on drone. When it connects you will get full range of Skycontroller.

I initially had a h3ll of a time getting my Bebop 2 connected to Wi-Fi and was getting more and more upset. That’s when I decided if in doubt read the instructions thoroughly and completely! It is very important the order in which you connect and power up for the drone to connect to the Wi-Fi network. Once I calmed down, backed up and regrouped everything went smoothly and I was up and flying. The battery time is a bit better than expected but I am glad that I’ve three batteries. I labeled the batteries along with my FAA Registration data. Note to users DON’T fall for the scam non-government sites that want $30.00 +- to register your drone with the FAA! Go directly to the FAA and register your drone and it’s $5.00 for three years! You don’t get a fancy label to put on your drone but a label maker works well and you get a printable .pdf of your registration certificate. Again the non-government sites are a rip-off! Read the directions for powering up and connecting and you shouldn’t have ANY problems! I opted for the in app purchase for Flight Plan but Flight Director wasn’t in my opinion worth the money to add music/audio to my videos. I’m going to tinker with my video editing tools once I’ve downloaded my flights and see what I can do. I’m finding this drone and FreeFlight Pro and in-app purchases to be well worth the money. I’ve a recumbent and am going to see how well the follow me works when I’m on the road.

I agree with other posters, this app is bogus. Been trying to connect to my drone and figure out to navigate it for over an hour. What gives? I don’t need all your ridiculous social and registration features if I can’t drive/pilot my device. Who cares about a community of you can’t even use the product?

Waste of money and time

The drone itself is pretty good but the app does NOTHING literally NOTHING. Can’t even connect to the drone. What good is having the drone if the app don’t work to be able to fly it?! Really it’s such a waste of time. What bothers me most is the company isn’t doing nothing to fix it. This problem been going on for some time and still there’s no resolution.

Bad date and time in videos

Hi ! When I download the videos from the bebop 2, the date and time is BAD, for example, the year appear 1969, 1973... All the components are updated to the last versions. Thanks. Fabián.
