Do not like the new app updates that should be making things easier not harder when it’s making you try to create a list and not allowing you to put it on your purchase list to buy you’re just making chaos.

1) When you modify your order, it immediately charges your card without any throttle. The result is their 3rd party payments processor blocking your transactions, resulting in errors in the app (which falsely claim it's your card company's fault). Instead the app should charge once per night or something since you can't update your order on the day of pickup anyway. Or, it should wait 30m-1hr before charging like Amazon does. I frequently / rapidly update my order, because the app provides this functionality. It's not my card company's fault that the app charges the card immediately every time. 2) There is no streamlined flow for adding items from either a shopping list or cart to an existing pickup order. This is basically a devastating usability problem. You have to make separate lists outside the app (like in Reminders) of the items you find in the app, then go into your existing order and add them using that list as reference. 3) Employees are working hard in spite of the circumstances of a pandemic. Corporate, not so much. Even without the above issues, this app is worth 1 star. Just my $4.

VERY disappointed using on-line ordering

I entered 53 items yesterday and could not place the order. I had to start all over when, after spending over ONE HR talking with two different specialists, they could not help me. WHAT? My order was over $138. This a.m. I took screen shots of my entire order and deleted the Fred Meyer and Kroger apps. I then went to the App Store and added FM app again. This time I got the grocery cart... after laboriously re-entering each item again. I was left with having to choose delivery because we would not get items until 1700-1800 hrs. too late for dinner. I was too irritated to do anything else. I am a loyal customer but don’t think my number or digital coupons were applied to this order. But do I know how to check that? No. This has been an exasperating experience compounded because we are trying to follow dr.’s orders to stay put for COVID reasons. And, I am truly disappointed I could not speak with my local FM in Bend for assistance despite my continued attempts for help.

I don’t write reviews often, but I thought it was necessary to write about how much I love the Fred Meyer app. It’s been really helpful during the pandemic- I can add the groceries I want and schedule a time for pickup so I don’t have to go inside the store with my 3mo old. It’s so handy, and the pickup process is really easy! Plus the associates who have brought out my groceries have been really friendly. One time I needed to change the pickup time and found that I wasn’t able to reschedule the time. All I was able to do was cancel the order. I was nervous that I’d have to go through my entire list of groceries and re-add them, but I was extremely happy when the app saved my groceries and asked if I wanted to re-add all of them to my cart! Such a great, time-saving feature! Thank you, Fred Meyer! Highly recommend!

Couldn’t pick up late in the day

I wanted to pick up my order on my way home from work but the latest time I could reserve was between 11am-noon. I tried every day of the week and it was the same.


Easier than the web site

I though that I don’t need the app, because I was using the website on my phone, but after I installed it, I can see it’s useful. The features are more visible and it’s easy to follow. Good app! I love pre-ordering my groceries!
