This app makes studying feel like a game. If I study, I get more coins. It’s an additional benefit that collecting enough coins allows you to plant a tree in real life.

I have ADHD and have a really difficult time staying focused and getting things done. Forest has helped me get homework done-no easy pheat when your brain wants to pay attention to ALL the things at once. This app has helped me find my ‘sweet spot’ and figure out that I can concentrate for 45 minutes at a time before needing a break. My only suggestion would be to ask if the developer could integrate music in the app. As of now, i always start Spotify or Audible before starting the timer. But if a book or playlist ends before my Forest timer, I lose my plant. It would be great if the app could sync up with iTunes or something so users didn’t have to leave the app.

I feel ok about this app. If you don’t turn on deep focus mode, it might not be helpful.

I was recommended this because I have very erratic studying habits. This gave me a goal to work towards and is definitely worth the amount I paid for it. I love that it also gives you ambiance sounds to help you focus as well. I can’t wait to see my forest grow!
