Needs improvement

Need to be able to select-all when importing to mobile device. As well as swipe-select images. When importing dozens of images it takes a long time to select the ones you need.

-Last update was over a year ago for iOS 13 -App connects to camera through home network but in the field the device to device WiFi sharing does not connect to app. Also instrument connection button should be on opening screen not in a sub menu. It’s the first thing you do when you open app. Button should be fast access and prominent.

Terrible app that lacks features to get your photos

You can add your photos to the FLIR Tools app. That’s great. It works great. Then you can’t put them anywhere. You can’t email them to yourself. You can’t load them to your device. However, you can sign up for a paid service with Box.com and transfer them that way. Then they have this “wonderful” reports feature. Supposedly you can easily creat reports, turn them into a PDF, then send them to yourself. The only problem is that when you try to type details for your reports the screen jumps all over the place and you can’t see what you’re typing. Then, if you need to edit the report after publishing that’s not an option. This app is terrible. I wish I had a better solution for how to work with my photos after my thermal camera audits.

Just purchased this meter. The device itself is great but will not connect to my phone or the app.

It at least imports. Nothing else like the app description states. Lazy company. Updates stopped a year ago. App looks like it was made for original iPhone. Maybe an employee could buy an iPhone to test this garbage app. Is this company still in business?

C5 does not connect

Bought the new C5 , very disappointed you do not let it work with this app I have many and enjoy FLIR products But ignite doesnt help as much as this app would.

This cannot possibly be THE app used to transfer images from a Flir camera. Useless. Brand new camera, updated app, zero functionality. IOS. Come on Flir.

Email MP4 Feature Lost

During the 9/6/19 “upgrade” we lost the ability to email MP4 videos from FLIR Tools. Unfortunately, this issue occurred after we purchased 10 E-95 cameras. The loss of this simple feature is preventing us from properly utilizing our new cameras. Technical support has recognized the issue.

Flir Report Template- Issue

Theres an issue when creating a report with Flirs Template. Text will display on the top left corner of the page with the naming convention of the Flir photo. Its not a major issue with a few photos but if you generate 100 if them a quarter of your report has black text of image names behind it. Currently its a problem when presenting thermal image reports to staff. Hopefully the sofware engineers can create a code to fix, otherwise a quick work around would be to include a white text code. Please let me know when this bug is crrected.

This program worked on my previous iPhone. Now that I have the iPhone 11 this app keeps saying there isn’t any images to upload which isn’t the case. I’ve tried everything from deleting the app and reinstalling it to turning the E5xt on and off repeatedly. Still won’t connect. I’ll raise my review once the app actually works again.
