I don’t get the purpose of it. I really wished we can use it to buy/sell, but this function is limited to certain payment we need to make. At least, make it possible to try and glamour our gear sets! Provide access to armoire and dresser. Pleeeeeaaase!

This app is actually very well designed and gives you an impressive amount of control over your current in-game inventories and character profile as well as real time market eewboard listings, prices and sales history all for free within a daily limit. To do more you have a to pay a subscription. It’s totally reasonable for what you get in return too, but...people are dumb so they just get triggered and rate it 1 star.

Literally all i use it for is to see who is online on my alt character was stead of character swapping...sometimes rarely i put an item for sale but it would be nice if i could do retainer ventures on it... not really good for anything as the chat also is only for other people who have it and not ingame but on the app itself

This review is for the free version. I like that I can shop the mb away from the game and check my retainers and inventory. I also like having an additional preferred location in game for having it. Kupo nuts being capped at 2 is a but annoying but not a deal breaker.

App Keeps Crashing When Open

I honestly don’t know if it’s my phone (Xr) or it’s the app it self. Has soon has I open it won’t even load to the Shadowbringers logo, just the moogle icon with the name of the app. Did a hard reset, soft reset, and deleting the app and re-instilling it. Nope, just want to try the app since I’ve been playing this game for almost two weeks now

The In-game bonuses are better.

NGL, this app isn’t very useful with the limiting currency and there’s not a ton to do inside it. I definitely get more use out of the “bonus” choco saddlebag and “free” retainer, with this more as an side add on to those services. Could use something more active, maybe a mini game for gathering/crafting while on the go.

Being able to organize inventory, check the market, make sales, etc from outside the game would normally be pretty nice. The problem is that they got hilariously greedy, and made the whole thing useless. Even if you’re naive enough to pay the $5 per month premium fee, it’s STILL useless, because they want you to keep paying more per-action to keep feeding the machine. Basically you can only either sell one item or MOVE one item once per day. If you pay the premium fee, you can move/sell TWO items! Such value! Beyond that, they want you to keep paying real money for every additional move/sell you do in a day. The extra saddlebag space is kind of crap; you’ll only use that if you gather real aggressively from a bunch of different sources, without stopping to either store them or sell them in between. I personally never even have use for the NORMAL saddlebag everyone gets for free. It’s too tedious to manage, and the app doesn’t even at least make THAT easier, since you have to pay through the nose if you want to reorganize your inventory with the app The retainer is bad too, since for $1 less you could get TWO retainers. The app is also horribly slow at everything, since it doesn’t seem to have very efficient access to the game’s servers. You can’t run it while the game is open either, if you were thinking of getting just to have easy access to market listings from anywhere. The chat is also completely useless, because it only lets you chat with other people also on the app. It doesn’t let you talk to people in-game. At that point you should just be using something better p, like Discord. Even if the premium version allowed unlimited actions, I think I would only get occasional use out of it. As it is, it’s just full-on useless.

At the core, this app works fine. You can see your character and inventory, chat with friends and your free company, and use retainers on the go. While expansion of features (ex. Swapping characters) would be nice, this still works alright

Honestly, why?

Why make an app that has a premium version and there is no premium benefit to using premium other than extra space in game? This kupo nut system or buying coins on top of it is silly, no to mention a 3% fee for using the app instead of the in game market... I wouldn’t mind paying $5 a month if it completely eliminated the Kupo nut system. Instead it increases it from 2 but max to 10... still pointless since you get one a day. I want to be able to do my commerce while sitting at work bored so I don’t have to spend hours doing inventory management when I’m home in game when I could be out grinding more. Get it together and quit being greedy with your micro transactions. Reminding me of EA Games at this point.
