Freezes frequently but still great game.

Save often because the game will freeze frequently. When it does run, it is the exact same as the PSP remake. Touch controls work great for the iPhone. Still fun despite the freezing. Updating to 2 stars as the app crashing has become extremely frequent. Will raise stars after it is fixed. Running iPhone 8 iOS 11.1.1

This game is always freezing up on my iPhone 8 Plus I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my phone clearing the cache and nothing just freezes after the forth or fifth battle in the story line even non story line battles freeze the game and you can’t force close it because when you reopen it it is stuck at the same frozen screen you have to restart to be able to reopen and guess what it freezes. If this issue is resolved I would be more than happy to give 5 stars I love the final fantasy series and loved this game on PS1 when it came out but sad to see that I may have only wasted my money
No longer Mobile Friendly!

The update to 64-bit was great. However, the auto-save feature in the middle of battles has been removed in the update, and I have not advanced in the story a single battle since. Zero video game progression on a $15 iPhone game! The game is already challenging enough (which is great!) but I simply don't have 15-20 minutes to exclusively focus on my phone every time I wanna open this app to play. I used to progress through the story in small chunks with the previous auto-save feature storing all of my progress mid-battle. Now, I haven't seen a cutscene in ages as I simply don't have the time to fully commit to the game’s lengthy combat. I love Square-Enix, Final Fantasy, and the Ivalice world. But it’s 2017! A feature like mid-battle auto-save should never have been ‘outdated’. Make this mobile friendly again, or please give me a refund.

Game is constantly crashing and doesn’t fit the screen well. Once it’s fixed I will update to 5 stars because this is one of my favorite games of all time.
Great story, really fun game, major flaws and lack of support

I want to start by saying I absolutely LOVE this game. I watched my cousin play it when I was younger and bought the two tactics versions that were released on DS when I was older. Much better storyline than its predecessors: it’s grittier, seems like it was designed for a more adult audience and feels more like a period piece than the almost childish versions that followed in the “trilogy”. I call it a trilogy because let’s face it, they’re not going to release anymore Tactics style games despite the hardcore cult following. Gameplay is surprisingly intuitive now that it’s an app, but I almost want to play it on silent sometimes because of the ear splitting beeps that play every time you press the screen to submit or cancel an action. I also realize that this is a “port” and not really an app, so the inconveniences like line of sight that occur in game are not something that could really be avoided without major redesign considerations. My major grievance though is the crashing. The port clearly does not get much support these days so the game crashes frequently, so I recommend saving every chance you get! Sometimes I can play the game for hours and even minimize and come back to it, but sometimes the game will crash three times just when starting it up. All that said, I really don’t expect them to fix anything I’ve said, and I do truly enjoy the game enough to see it through to the end (especially since I paid money for it). I would recommend it to somebody who can’t get their hands on the original PS version, who is very patient, and enjoys the series enough to deal with the inconveniences that come along with this port.
Buggy mess ruins a great game

It’s basically unplayable this version. Randomly crashing all the time. Sometimes it plays ok and the jp numbers don’t load in the menu ?

So far I can’t play the game. It freezes constantly and crashes. If you have 8plus with the latest a updates I do not recommend buying this game until the bugs are taken care of. Other than that the game is great from playing the game on PlayStation and psp and ps vita. Love it

I'm having s problem downloading the game as the title says, Everytime I go to download the game it say app can't be downloaded at this time. Can someone help.
