The grind is real.

SLCBeast2020

This is the most Grindy game I have ever played. Every single thing in this game requires a different type of material to upgrade and drip feed the materials to you. They’re taking pay to win to the next level with this one. And literally there are thing you can only buy with paid lapis(not the lapis you can earn in game). So shady and would not recommend.

Not worth it

Horrible drop rates as well as pay to play concept. The game could be great but with those problems I can’t find myself to play the game.

Disappointing

The game has you fight wolves, ogres, Crystals, birds, bombs, and generic soldiers over and over. Even when you face a boss one might expect one worthy of final fantasy but no another ogre with a color swap. The espers are the same monsters you fight so they spent no effort on making a game worthy of ff tactics. In pvp you have to sit and watch as your troops will line themselves up perfectly to be slaughtered by one area effect. I downloaded the game for free because I was a fan of fftactics and paid for the expensive pack to support the game but in retrospect I should have waited till I played through the lame story. Game is incomplete except for the soldiers you have to loot box for and loot boxes is how they get you. Beware

If Bewildering Was Boiled Down to its Essence

I am a HUGE Final Fantasy Tactics fan and very much enjoy Fire Emblem Heroes. So, when I heard those two things were coming together (the world of one and the phone app style of the other) I was VERY excited. HOWEVER, this game is basically unintelligible. Every screen (outside of combat) has more buttons, scrolls, levers, and numbers than even the most alert-minded of people will not be able to process until they have been engulfed in the game for months. Now, Fire Emblem Heroes has the same amount of complexity and data, but they keep it hidden away until you’re adventurous enough to find it. This game, shoves it in your face, even when you have no idea what it means. I spend money on cell phone games. I wanted to spend money on this game. But I really don’t even know how to buy what I want, because there is fathoms too much going on and leagues too much to purchase. Hopefully, someday, they will simplify this blinking, insistent mess. But until then, only enter when you’re sober, have a pen and paper ready, and are in the mood to slog through menus designed by a mad man/woman.

The grind is real

This game is awesome. I played the original tactics game on the PSx and every final fantasy tactics game that came out. To be honest the zodiac system is the elemental system for this game so I felt right at home, how ever locked units who only do so much stripped away so much personalization from the tactics franchise that I almost hated the game. But after giving it a month it didn’t seam to matter the one thing I truly despise about the game is that units have a rarity and some units will never be as good as some others. Now first timers you want to focus on your main 5 and do not pour anything into a character your not going to use, and the grind is real the orbs for star upgrades are hard to come by and the rainbow bricks aside From the elemental bricks are hard to come by as well. Mid way through the game it was changed that you needed the rainbow bricks to push a unit up in stars. This was a way for them to have people pay so the bricks could be drip fed to people who do not pay. Also with the chocobo system that’s is supposed to help with farming you have to pay until rank 10 to open up all three ways to farm and then after you pay so much you can get more stuff after paying to increase your yeild which is one of the most underhanded money grabbing schemes I have seen in a free game since you also have to pay for NRG.... but if none of that bothers you then Japan’s best presence outside of anime; final fantasy has a good game that takes strategy in how you prepare vs the act of playing which is why I have been playing this game. Reminds me of a cheaper dragons blaze.

Intuitive, exciting, and addicting!

This game a thrill! I’m constantly trying out new games to see what I would play consistently, and WOTV thoroughly takes the cake! Constant new events, interactive to each character, it isn’t like any of those FTP card RPGs. You really get to build your own squads and control each character of you choose! I have played everyday since it was released globally, even if it was just to capture daily missions! I’m not a Whale in this game, playing just by the resources provided, and I’ve never felt so hindered by it! It’s a success in my opinion and I can’t wait to see how much further this game goes! Thank you so much! ??????????

Great game ,money doesn’t go far.

The Game is fine. Wish there was controller support and money went farther the prices they charge a player should get ten times more. In other mobile games little money goes a long ways. I wish this game had a set purchased price. If you do spend money don’t expect to get your money worth.

Highly recommend

Great afk game

Huge Grind and Resource Bottleneck

Sabin 7* When

The game has good graphics and has a decent story (so far), but it is an extreme grind with multiple items requiring leveling (units, equipment, espers, visions cards). Further, you can’t really maximize your team due to resources that bottleneck your ability to improve and can’t be farmed. The drop rate for UR items does not seem too bad, but you need multiple pulls of the same to have enough shards to max a unit. For the most part, gameplay is automated as well, so it’s essentially a team building game. Overall, too much of a grind and required items are limited to fully enjoy.

Greedy 50 bucks will get you nowhere I played a month before I spent anything as soon as I did that nerfed the unit I upgraded and now he does less damage than he did before I awakened him no notice on any kind of unit nerf I want my money back !
