Please more tactics

SmartA10

Hi ⏹ Enix my name is Josue Matamala and I love the Final Fantasy franchise. I think the best spin-off games you had were the Final Fantasy Tactics games, every one of those games were great. I was disappointed when you weren’t making more. Until now! You ported WOTRL for smartphones, and made a new game! So far the game is pretty good, the voice acting’s great, music awesome as always, and the gameplay is fun. I gave it a 4 because it’s not perfect with a slow beginning and all the stereotypical cliches of app games. Please make more tactics! Ha e a great day!

Fun for awhile

Peepeetom

So big time for fan here, still own the original. This game is pretty great and well put together. The storyline and acting I actually found pretty decent. My only complaint, which caused me to stop playing, is you finish the storyline after about 2 weeks and all the game becomes is upgrading your character and 3v3 pvp. Which on top of that the pvp is automated and your characters don’t always do what you want. So the game gets entirely boring and not fun too play.

Re-skinned Old Dead Game!

Gamersheart

Really bad re-skinned TAC (the alchemist code). Levelling and Job system is complete trash!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME BY GUMI!!! You need to PAY to level your characters! You cannot max your characters after pulling the unit and even after pulling another unit, it will be transformed into USELESS SHARDS!!! M Job system is also trash and useless like tac. The game is just copy of Alchemist code’s TRASH levelling system. So many new useless characters added. What a Complete Waste!!! Find a better game..

Thank you Square!

First and only review ever. This is as good as it gets. The last ios game you will ever need. A fantastic effort. It remains very true to the simple fun of the greatest game ever made, FFT on the PS1, yet, brought into the 21st Century. I have been waiting a very long time for this. Thank you Squaresoft!! Release this on the PC and I will give you $40!! P.S. I would like to support the developers more but you’re in app purchases are on the anemic side and not worth it.

Buggy and slow

Sgtjojoe

It’s a fun game but boy is it buggy. Sometimes you wait at a “Connecting” screen which seems to take hours, other times the game crashes with an “Unidentified Error” - oh! And I hope you like grinding. If you are F2P you’ll spend your time grinding material while the P2P folks zoom past you. Give this one a pass until they fix it

Twitching remains of a once legendary game

Final fantasy tactics was once an elegant masterpiece, and it’s a shame to see it tarnished with this bloated, overwrought cash grab. Don’t be fooled by the visuals— every mechanic in this product is designed to compulsively milk money from you, entertainment is an after-thought. Please understand that I do enjoy a gacha game which respects its players, but this is not one of them. One look at the main menu after the opening tutorial shows you just how littered with salesmanship it is. You are immediately asked to watch videos in exchange for power, the store has more items than a new player can possibly understand, and there are dozens of push notifications thrust at you before you begin to actually become invested in the story or gameplay— which, by the way, we’re encouraged to auto-skip, because the developers understand this product is all about compulsion— Just keep pulling that slot machine lever and convince yourself you’re having “fun”. I’m told the pay wall is huge, but I refuse to suffer this betrayal of the source material to find out for myself. I would have happily paid $80 for a proper sequel.

A 5 star game with a 1 Star money grab

Red faced Rookie

First I would like to say I love the gameplay of this game. It plays and feels very much like an updated FFT. Honestly the gameplay is a 5 star game. Thank you it is amazing. That being said... $80 for 1 playable character is not acceptable. This is taking the game and tarnishing it. You need to adjust the price points as I would like to support this game financially but this is absolutely a terrible and greedy money grab that is trying to take advantage of nostalgia and that really doesn’t belong in this fine game. Remove fix the price gauging and put this game where it belongs, at 5stars!

A big pay to win game

tavopr88

Have been expecting this game global since jp version was released but it is a deception for me. I spent $80 and 36k visiores to get orlandeu and didn’t get it, and can’t play multiplayer in my iPad 7 or in my galaxy S10, for me there are better options that are not so pay to win

I love It!

Jon Bongovi

I had this game once before but deleted it because I couldn’t get any farther than I was, but I decided to get it again because I have developed an obsession with Final Fantasy and all my favorite characters such as Cloud, Sephiroth, Prince Noctis, Prince Mont, Prompto, Genesis, Lann, and Zidane. I just love Prince Mont in this game, he’s my favorite, and I like the guys they have for a limited time right now and I’m trying so hard to get them, but I might not. Anyway, I love this game and I love Prince Mont. (My cousin.)

This is one of the least fun games I have ever played. To those expecting a remodeled FFT experience, stay away. The game has ugly graphics with boring gameplay; a tired, cliche plot; and characters that have nothing unique or interesting about them. They just recycle the same job skills over and over again with every character. You’ll spend the majority of your time with the game on “auto-repeat” just to avoid having to play it.
