Great idea. Needs a couple of additions

Love the app. Great & easy way to pay for fuel. Would give 5 stars if the app supported Apple CarPlay so I can access the app on my dash screen. Would also like to see Siri integration so I could say, “Hey Siri. Pay for gas.”

It’s a fabulous thing to buy and pay and get rewards while standing in one spot by your car!! Love it!!

The app without a doubt expedites the process at the pump. However, just about everywhere in the US, stations charge an average of $.07 a gallon more for credit purchase. If you’re in New York like I am, then it’s .$10 more. I’m a small business owner that saw the rewards program offered through the app and figured I would give it a try because gas is a large expense for my business. I linked the app with my company bank card thinking that I would be avoiding the credit card charge, Unfortunately, after about a week and $500.00 in fill ups, I realized looking at the pump that I was being charged as a credit card purchase. Upon discovering this I went to the clerk at the station who told me I needed to contact the assistant number for the app. After explaining the situation to the women on the app contact number, she told me that she could not help and transferred me to corporate customer service. This was another dead end. I spent an hour and a half on the phone throughout this whole process and was told that by Tuesday I would have a response from corporate. This was almost a week ago and I still have heard nothing. My business is based on numbers so here they are: Where I live and fill up my tank Exxon mobile is the most expensive gas provider by about $.05/gallons, then add in another $.10 for credit. So every time I fill my diesel which is over 30 gallons to fill, with that said for the the convenience of saving roughly 20 seconds at the pump I’m paying a premium of $6 more per fill up. The rewards just aren’t rewards.

This app is pointless because Exxon does not make its stations support Speedpass. It is hit or miss whether a station will support collecting loyalty points or payment via Speedpass at all. At that point, gas is gas. Skip this app and just get the cheapest fill up you can find until Exxon does its job. UPDATE: I am updating this review since the developer came back with their scripted response. Not all of the gas stations that are listed as Speedpass+ enabled DO NOT have Speedpass+ working properly. They may or may not allow use of Speedpass+ for payment, and they may or may not allow collection of loyalty points. Moreover, more and more stations no longer have working sensors for the Speedpass key fob, so Speedpass is more useless than ever. So, I say again to you good citizens, “gasoline is gasoline”!!! They all have detergents, they all are regulated, and they all cost way more than gasoline should cost. Therefore, find your cheapest fillup. If Exxon cannot be bothered to make its stations maintain Speedpass in good and working order, then you should not be bothered with brand loyalty. Update Part Two: I made the mistake of updating from the Speedpass+ app, and now this app does not work at all. The new Mobil Rewards let’s Me log in, then prompts Me to enter My Speedpass+ password so that the two can be “merged”. I enter the password, the system say “kindly f&@$ off” and kicks Me out. I called Customer Service, had the account unlocked, reset the password, and started the process all over again. Same result. At the end of the day, Mobile Rewards+ is a “loyalty” program. I am not gonna spend hours of the phone with these people like they are the IRS. If they cannot fix their app, they do not get my loyalty; simple. At this point, I do not care if I ever use Speedpass again. Gas is gas.

I have had this app for a while now & I must say how easy it is to use! I’m not a person who it up on Technology therefore & needless to say Even I can figure it out & use it. The points for something I use on a regular basis is just another Keeper!!! THANK YOU!!!
Way more trouble than it’s worth

Gotta elect the station and pump to pay, that’s not too bad. But every other time the payment fails! Oh look, they want me to call customer support and have a button for that. Except it goes to Canada and I’m in the US.

The previous app allowed redeeming of points right from the app when paying for fuel. Where is that feature now? I don’t see it in the app now. It’s ridiculous to give your phone to the gas attendant to scan it and the tell him to enter your pin and then tell him how much points to use? Where is the common sense? It was much easier to redeem points before right from the app. Please that feature back. Thank you.
