From the circus bazaar to the sweeping cathedral in the center of town, Epic Citadel dazzles with a visual parade of special effects, as only imagined by Epic Games and powered by the critically acclaimed Unreal Engine 3.
Are you ready to explore the realm of the Epic Citadel and all the beautiful secrets it holds?
Epic Citadel was created using the same tools and technology used to develop high-end console games, now delivered for iOS devices!
Because I can't find it. All it lets me do is walk through some town. Looks pretty cool but I want to do more than just walk through a map.
One thing you could do to improve would be to make mini games in different places on the map. The game is only really fun for the first few minutes while you look through the map. It gets very boring after the first few minutes. There is nothing but looking through the map.
They downgraded the visuals on A4 devices. Completely removed lens flare, bloom and hdr. and overall it performs worse than the 1.02 version i had previously. Glad this was a free tech demo and not a game that I paid money for. Hope this downgrade doesn't happen on other unreal based games.
The app hasn't been updated, so anyone who upgrades to iOS 11 won't be able to run it. Booo!
I love this game... yes, I know it's a technology demo, but it's such a great place to just walk around in. There's a zen to it that I'll really miss when I make the jump to iOS 11. I'm sure this app has been downloaded a bazillion times, which is a testimony to how wonderful it is. Epic, won't you consider updating to 64-bit? Although it's totally useless in any practical way, and you've already made your point about the technology, it really is nice place to escape to & relax. Please?
