Toyota... look at these ratings. Everyone hates this. Including me. I was so excited about my Brand new rav4. Wonderful car, awful app.

Worst App Ever

It's a shame Toyota allow this company to put this very poor app in there very nice 2018 Toyota Camry SE. Each time I start my car, I my phone prompting to use entune. The Scout app those not check for alternative direction when traffic is congested on the route I am traveling. In order to see the full Navigation screen, you have to connect your phone to the USB connection. You might as well use your cell app. Pandora works when it feels like it. It stops working after all phone callsand it loves to freeze up and iHeartRadio plays to many ads.

I have a 2018 Camry and this app hardly ever works. It’s enraging. Most of the time my phone is both connected to the car via a cable AND working on Bluetooth. The app refuses to work.

My new 2019 Rav4 came with this feature. It is like a guessing game whether it will connect.

I love Toyota, but if I knew that the 4cyl car did not have the media features of the 6. I would have gotten the 6. Plus the app is horrible. I would never drive a Ford, but at least they have apple play and the media features fit my lifestyle. The Entune app is the worst I have ever used.

Entune fails to work more times than not. I don’t love looking at my phone to figure out all the problems while trying to get to my destinations. Retro-fit Toyota? Help!

I just bought a 2019 Rav 4XLE. I have had several Toyota’s as lease cars over the past 8 years. This is the most useless Entune system there is. There is no XM Satellite Radio Source like my 2017 XLE Rav, there is no built in Navigation system like my 2017 XLE. I thought I was getting apples for apples in my trade with upgrades. This is a downgrade and very disappointed in Toyota. They should replace or update to better options. Never would I have bought the car if I’d have known I’d lose all the things I needed. I don’t like having to connect my phone and use my data as I don’t have unlimited. Toyota never considered that I guess. Useless to me. Look of car is nice but that’s it.

Update is a nuisance

I already updated the app on my iPhone and in my 2019 Toyota CHR, then every fifteen minutes it pops on my CHR asking me to download and install. This is happening nonstop. I called the Entune support and the hold time is another issue. Anyway, they told me uninstall it from my iPhone and reinstalled it. That didn’t work, it still asking me to download and install it. So I deleted it completely from my iPhone and never install it again. Hopefully, they find a fix to it.

Not worth to purchase Hybrid Camry 2018 & 2019. This app Randomly drop the connection! When iPhone kill the headphones jack and go with Bluetooth, Toyota Car play still need the wire connection for car play.
