Horrible!!!

Crimsonclay

I finally got a new car, I’ve waiting for almost 20 years and paid a friggin pretty penny for this car...I was so excited to have all this great technology and this refused to connect with my Verizon wireless/IPhone 8!! It’s like I have all these great things but I can’t even use them. It’s so frustrating. It ask me every time if I want to connect and then fails to do so. I am so frustrated. ?

Garbage. I have to allow it every single time my car starts. It crashes and never works. This has made me not want to buy my leased Camry. I cannot do anything while sitting in the passenger seat because the screen goes grey.

Worthless

Still a useless POS.

Frustrating

This app is great if you don’t desire to have any audio system of any sort in your vehicle. If it is not “Pandora Error”, “No Network Connection” or “Application failed to download” I have nothing coming from the audio portion of my “infotainment system”. The worst part is that when it lock up Pandora you cannot play any other audio source so you are stuck listening to wind and road noise. I am so upset that I purchased this Camry. Last Toyota for me.

Trash—not worth installing

The only reason for me to install Entune was to be able to use the Scout GPS Link. Neither work. Was getting an error message every time I started the car so I uninstalled and reinstalled because I wanted the navigation; however, to get that navigation you have to install another app “Scout GPS Link” (which by the way is trash too). The error message which started about a month after I got the 2018 Camry was: “Download error, some Entune App Suite functions may not work as expected. Please reinitiate the download process.” This message happens every time I start the car. Obviously the app doesn’t work which then means the navigation app “Scout” doesn’t work either, not that you want that either because it doesn’t display maps on your vehicle screen. You have to break the law and hold your phone up to see a map. I’ve uninstalled both apps, and bought a Garmin GPS for my vehicle. Seriously what was Toyota thinking. Their vehicles do not have navigation and their apps are horrible.

Most infuriating app EVER!!!

I rented a 2018 Sienna to see if I wanted one, this app and the gps is completely useless! You have to have your phone connected and on the whole time, and after ten minutes it all disconnects and you are without navigation. Nothing is intuitive, the map disappears for some unknown reason, so all you have are arrows on the screen. Played with it for a few days, and had to delete it and just stick with maps and directions from my phone. So Toyota, you won’t be getting a dime of my money.

Awful app

Mrs. C?

It’s very basic and confusing. Seems like I can’t make sense of it from the app to my Camry. I’ve had a lot of Fords and I miss it’s apple car play

It will NOT work with an iPhone 6 or higher

Grandmakdw

We purchased this vehicle and were told to go home and set up Entune and scout. On day one it did not work. They sent a technician from out of town to look at the car it did not work. Finally after lots of back and forth with technicians and the CEOs of Toyota we got a letter saying the problem was with Apple and iPhones. If you have an iPhone 6 or higher do not purchase the Entune/scout system, unless you can get your dealership to agree to take your car back in writing if your maps does not work. Turn by turn will work but maps will not right now, and it doesn't appear to be much hope for it working in the future. Purchasing the car right now with Entune is a total waste of thousands of dollars, and I personally feel duped and taken for a ride.

Pathetic!

I went from a 2017 Sienna to a 2018 Camry. This app never works. Compared to the original Entune I’m used to, it’s truly pathetic. I have to sign into Pandora every single time as well as have the app completely open to use Pandora. My van would just start it every time I started the car. I get rid of apps I don’t need and they always come back. I re-arrange then to my liking, and they move back. I know it’s minor, but it makes me wish I had kept my van. I also miss the navigation without using the stupid Scout app. I don’t use it. I’ll stick to Waze. Toyota, I’m highly disappointed! This is my family’s 4th Toyota. We only buy Toyota’s, but this has me second-guessing that decision. Get your stuff together or you may be losing life-long customers.

Really, Toyota?

I own a 2018 Camry SE. The car is great but this app/software is just horrible. Very disappointing that a company as reputable for good products as Toyota would put such a bad application in their cars. Would have been better to not have anything than to have this. I hope they fix this asap.
