It does absolutely nothing.

New RAV4 owner. Still waiting on my plates. I think there is more that annoys me about Entune than pleases me. For example, when starting my car, the Entune app asks for permission to communicate with my RAV4. Every. Darned. Time. If I do not click “allow”, the Entune apps do not all work. Also, Alexa almost never works. I gave up trying to figure out why. Technology like this is great when it works, but when it fails intermittently like this, I would rather not have it. I hope Toyota’s Safety Sense features are more reliable.

Entune 3.0 is so infuriating! I am a loyal Toyota customer, but this 2019 Camry may send me looking elsewhere. I am now regretting trading in my 2017 for the 2019. The main reason I did this was because of what looked like would be better technology(the same reason I have upgraded every couple of years since 2012); and it would be if it worked more than 1/4 of the time. I am now at the point of not being able to connect to Entune 3.0 at all. I have tried restarting my phone, car, app, and deleted and reinstalling the app. To no avail. I never had an issue with Entune before 3.0. 3.0 is enough to make me look at other makes of cars before I trade this one in. It’s kind of difficult to enjoy a car for all of its technology if the technology doesn’t even work, even the most basic aspects like Bluetooth. The only way I can talk through my car is if CarPlay is on and my phone is physically plugged in to it. So I basically have ‘Maps’, Waze, and CarPlay that’s it. I am even having issues with CarPlay swapping my phone from a call to my iPhone speaker then to the car speaker; also turning the radio completely off if I’m on a call or turning the volume down and not resuming it when I’m off the call. The design, I was told, was for safety reasons but I am so distracted while I’m in this car trying to get my hands free calling to work or figure out how to get my radio back on after a call it’s borderline dangerous, probably the equivalent of texting and driving. I’m hoping, but not too optimistic, given all the complaints that are over a year old, that Entune 3.0 and Toyota will get this resolved so everyone doesn’t feel completely screwed by Toyota on this vehicle purchase. I really thought Toyota did better testing before releasing something this terrible.

Have a brand new 2020 Corolla have paired it multiple times in a month and it constantly does not recognize my vehicle in this app very frustrating needs some major improvement

My car kept bothering me telling me that I had to get this app. Finally I got it and then less than a week later it told me I needed to update. I have tried to update the app probably at least five times now but the reminder never goes away. Stupid app it doesn’t even improve my driving experience at all. There is no purpose for it. Just takes up storage on my phone

When are you fixing the bugs Toyota?

In this era of digital transformation, this app is way behind and needs serious updates. It’s completely unusable for me. Keeps telling me to ensure the app is running on your phone. My phones shows connected, but the apps never load on my dashboard. Bought this 2019 and thinking about returning it if they don’t fix these bugs.

I love the car, but this app is useless. You can connect your phone to the thru Bluetooth for music and calls, have mastered the maps because apparently I have to download something else with that or I don’t know, but I Stan with the useless part

I hate it I have no idea what it truly can do because it makes me update and install every 5 mins then gives me an application error. Pure garbage.

To using a $5 cord to plug in my iPhone. Apple Car play simply does every single thing this 3rd rate app should do which in reality is one thing. It works. Traded in a 2017 for a 2019 C-HR and the audio system felt like a downgrade in every way until I purchased a cheap backup cable from Amazon to take advantage of Car Play.
