Excellent

I have always been a avid user of google. But recently with all that’s going on I have grown tired of how they do things with my privacy so I looked for a new alternative. It’s hard to trust anything that sounds to good to be true like this but I gave it a chance and I am happy I did I looked in to the creator and learned a lot. I have now replaced all my google apps on my iPad and phone with DuckDuckGo. Let’s just hope down the road we don’t hear that so and so was caught selling user information as some companies have. P.s I love the burn button a fun add on lol

Freezes

Slow. It freezes up, won't allow you to type in fields, won't allow you to go back - if you try and close the app and come back, you may still be frozen. I'd love the additional security, but not at slow speed and not to freeze up...

I love how this app aims to keep our web usage private. It’s so creepy when ads start showing up on various websites for something I searched for a few days ago. The website grading system is informative and seeing which trackers were blocked on each website is cool. It was particularly illuminating when I went to WebMD to research a medical issue and the app blocked 18 tracker networks. Wow! I have uncovered one issue, though. When I visit some websites, like The Verge for example, they seem to get stuck reloading. After a few seconds the page goes white and reloads several times. It may have started after I added the site to the whitelist.
