DDG app won't hold settings (themes, appearance, privacy options). The version in the Apple store isn't even compatible with the most recent version of iOS. Could be premier search, but lacks intuition and basic usability. My search continues for a privacy search. engine that actually fulfills the app developers' claims. DDG isn't it.
<--- 5 stars bro
The only feature I'm really missing is a setting to opt-out of the data-clearing confirmation that says "Clear Tabs and Data". I'd like to be able to hit the flame button and automatically delete everything without the extra step of confirming. Please? :D

Great experience, love the privacy features/options and searches for me work just as well as Google or Bing. I rarely need another search engine. Will be 5 stars once hardware keyboard shortcuts are added for iPad. Thanks for a great browsing experience!

Your app icon does not show on my iPad screen - anywhere. Do I need to uninstall & reinstall?

Nice new look, but it's slower than mud and stalls frequently. Pretty new visuals but it's no longer functional unless you've got the patience of Job. Even removed and installed. No improvement. Time to find another search engine. Too bad. Edit: just installed latest update in the hope they had corrected things. Sadly, it took a full 2 minutes to complete a search on my iPad. Looks like a failure. Deleting and going with Startpage. It's rock solid, no frills and fast. Wasted enough time with Duck. Edit x 2: yet another update but no improvement. Still over 2 minutes to get search results. App remains broken and a no go. Startpage still a much better choice. Edit x3: March 2018. Still hopelessly slow on iPad 3. Either the app just won't function as it stands on the older devices or the developers don't care about older devices working with this app. I surrender. A once trusted and oh so useful app has been removed and I'll be sticking with Startpage. Bye bye duck.

Please, please, please add a full screen button so the top and bottom screen bars can go away to utilize the full screen for viewing websites, images, etc. awesome app!

I admit, I'm a DuckDuckGo fanatic. I use it on every device I have (and have also persuaded my parents to start using it). The iOS mobile app is great. Howwwwwever, I do have a suggestion for the app. It would be FANTASTIC to be able to “Open Tab in Background” like [the dreaded] Safari, vs. “Open Link in New Tab” which opens said link in the foreground, which makes you then have to go to your “Open Tabs” section, scroll all the way back to the top tab, where all of your search results are. It does get annoying and a bit frustrating having to do this every time you want to open a link without losing your search. Other than that, love it!

Its great to have a browser that prioritizes privacy especially since Google just grows bigger ever day and watches everything you do. However on just the pure application itself; I do notice that it is slower than Safari most of the time. Also it would be nice to have a refresh icon already in display instead of tapping around. I do feel like the fire icon can be minimized to size with the other bottom icons. That being said I love the app and think it would greatly be improved with better interface features and navigation.

Sharing is very limited while in the APP (sharing to a printer). These options are present while using DuckDuckGo in Safari. Not much point in downloading this APP (disappointing since it really is a nice clean app).
