Time to upload videos is way too long specially when paying a monthly subscription

GrabbaBeer

I’m not sure if this is a regional issue with servers, or just this apps servers in general. But the upload time to upload videos is way too long. I’m canceling my subscription because of it. Basic emails work 10x faster than this. I know it’s not my connection either, because as someone that worked in network engineering I know exactly how it works. My connection was 1gbps upload with 0 packet loss and an 8ms ping. There’s no reason it should take over an hour or often more at times to upload a 15 minute video shot with an iPhone. This is completely ridiculous. Maybe it’s just because it’s the mobile app and how it handles the data? I would love an answer.

App is useless and doesn’t work.

#Gamerboy

Camera uploads pause when simply exiting the app and still having it in background. This app is worthless because of this. Honestly keep it off the app store till you can make it work.

Thrilled

Can’t login to my account

jessc149

They reset my password without my consent, and since my email was compromised and I have no access to it, they will not let me access my photos. I’ve had my Dropbox since at least 2009. I lost all of the photos I had of relatives that passed and everything. They have refused to help me.

Stop lying!

Love how the app says Dropbox will continue uploading in the background every-time I am uploading files only to come back to it with it not. And yea I have background refresh allowed in the iPhone settings.

Cherished memories. . .

Thumbs Up to Dropbox

Dropbox has been my “Go-To” storage source for years. Easy. Reliable. Fairly priced.

Awful New UI

tonygameboy

Boy did Dropbox really screw their customers by changing a UI that was perfect. Keep in mind you can no longer easily transfer photos to your PC or a hard drive. Dropbox made something so simple so difficult now that I am moving to another file sharing app. YOU CAN NO LONGER CUT/PASTE TO YOUR PC/HARD DRIVE. If you think you will just go in and move files in a timely manner just give up. I've had to go back 5 months to verify photos were transferred. So many duplicates and missing files/photos.
