For the love of everything good in this world don’t sign up to pay for this subscription through anything other than google pay or they can’t look up the account info at all to cancel once you no longer need this app

I’m trying to apply to jobs & upload my resume by using Dropbox and it fails to work with every website I try to apply with.

Because Dropbox tries to have direct API integrations to apps, it has foregone developing a real integration with the iOS file system. Because of this, many apps that *could* use Dropbox files cannot do so, such as iA Writer. It’s not particularly difficult to support this functionality, so if it’s not added by my annual renewal date, I’ll be leaving the professional plan. Dropbox has been great across platforms and on desktop, but it’s these small, simple details which break workflows that I’m tired of.

After I bought a new phone the app was disabled unless I bought a plan. Then the number of devices went from 5 to 3. I wonder why. More scummy behavior from big tech. I’m going to pcloud

Every time I save smth to a folder on Dropbox that folder is no longer displayed by iPad s Files app. The only solution is to logout of Dropbox and log in again. Which is a major hassle. Don’t think it was that bad before. Apparently Dropbox is not properly integrated in current version of iOS. I am a paying subscriber for Dropbox. But apparently now I will have to look at other services that are supported by iOS.
