Life saver

pj30002

I love dropbox so far. I’ve had it for about a month now. It’s a major lifesaver for me. The way my brain works I like for things to be as organized as possible. So far I am using dropbox to organize my photos and videos as well as my thoughts, goals, tasks etc. Dropbox features that I love 1. I can make as many folders as I want within other folders which really helps me with organizing anything I want to organize digitally. 2. I love how easy and accessible it is to rename, move, copy the folders etc. 3. I love how I can download folders from dropbox straight to my computer. Which I then copy that folder to my flash drive as an extra back up storage system on top of having Dropbox. I also plan on being an online content creator such as pictures , videos, documents, etc. I plan on using dropbox to organize and store my content. I love dropbox so much that I had to write this review thank you so much.

Support

Support is horrible. The support staff does a reasonably well job but communication without phone or screen share is frustrating and unnecessary.

Very Disappointed ??????

I spend monthly like $12 on Dropbox. For the last 2 weeks it can’t even play any of my songs wav and mp3 files all the way through. Pathetic pathetic and soooo fricking irritating. I may just cancel and use my AT&T storage.

Cost of space

Margo Lichtenthal

I do not have a business. I use Dropbox for my hobby - knitting patterns. My Dropbox is almost full and I keep moving files to other locations. Why? I will tell you. I have no problem paying for some space. But as I am not a business owner to have to pay $20/month for my hobby is a bit much. I have tried finding a phone number to talk to a human being about the possibility of a one time purchase of some space, but it seems that Dropbox is not interested in talking to customers, especially “insignificant” ones like myself. I love having Dropbox and have found it easy to used but I do strongly believe that there should be an option for people like myself to purchase an additional amount of space.

Make sure you have a backup

Mejluc

I was with Dropbox when Carousel was still in the picture. Then a few months ago they disabled my account with no word, reason, or notice. They won’t reply to my emails asking why. I used Dropbox Passwords, Vault, and their cloud storage…all lost. Took awhile to recover. So don’t use them for your only cloud service. They’ll close you down and you’ll have lost everything.

Stopped syncing but Drop Box showed latest file stored

bsjk1

Drop Box showed files store with latest date. When I needed to use the latest file with my pc in for serice, I found Drop Box hadn’t sync’ed for 7 months. This could costs me months of work to recover. I’ll never trust it again.
