I deleted the app. Wanted to redownload. It won't, because it indicates it's still on the ipad, even though it was deleted from App Library and won't open. Useless. By the way, the reason I wanted to delete then download again was that "back up all photos " backed up maybe 3/4 of photos. Unreliable and unimpressive.

Once again no quality control. Camera uploads seem to dance back-and-forth between a number and one number lower than pop out to the higher number again hours later it’s still trying to upload the same stupid photo.

What’s new? Not your release notes! It’s been the same for months if not years… Dropbox was the best… first to worst it feels like. As a paid customer for years it constantly markets upgrades (to family membership eg) while not really innovating and definitely degrading in performance. Say goodnight it’s time to drop the box I’m leaving on a Google Drive through my iCloud.

I use Dropbox for iPad, the app is grand. This is just a suggestion about the Home screen. I would, however, like to see an update to the default Home Screen. The default Home Screen is just the list of recent uploads and a giant white square (that takes up half the screen) for an upload. It feels kind of chaotic and a bit overwhelming to open the app up to that. Even if I have my files and recent uploads categorized in folders… I still open the app up to the long list of unorganized recent files (although technically they are listed in chronological order….) I appreciate that there are separate tabs for “RECENT UPLOADS” and for “FILES”, it just seems like (if you’re not going to have a customizable home screen) it would be more efficient to have the default home screen be the (user-organized) “FILES” tab, as opposed to the unorganized “RECENT UPLOADS” tab…. (Hope that makes sense.)

I was looking into this last night, downloaded it saw it cost $11.99 with 30 day free trial. I passed and didn’t think about it bc I never authorized the purchase as normal. I check this morning hours later I’ve been charged $11.99 I knew it wasn’t me at that point bc I definitely would’ve gone for the 30 day free trial. Now I have to go thru my apple to get it refunded, just a step that wouldn’t of been necessary. Learned my lesson, deleted this app instantly.
