Dropbox is Amazing

Jeff Hesser

Great application for my business.

What’s the problem?!?

thedood77

I don’t understand why but occasionally when I unlock my phone it opens directly into Dropbox even when the app isn’t running. It updated 3 days ago and it’s still doing it, I need this app for work but it’s very annoying and odd that it does this!

A Must Have

Bryan Keeenum

I have used Dropbox for many years. This is by far the best online storage provider out there (and I’ve tried them all-Google Drive, OneDrive, IceDrive and Mega, you name it) and Dropbox wins every single time. Being a developer, I can tell you that the guys over at Dropbox have done their homework on the algorithms behind the scenes that are responsible for indexing and processing your file changes. Their algorithms are the fastest things I’ve ever seen when it comes to handling TBs of data. It’s mind boggling to thing about how much happens behind the scenes stuff goes on to keep your files updated and safe. If you handle a large amount of files, need it processed and capable of sometimes thousands of changes at a time, Dropbox is your friend. Editing thousands of lines of code and make a mistake-it’s also your friend with the rewind tool. I wish I could rate it 10 stars! Switch to Dropbox and stop the madness of file storage once and for all. Stop giving Google your money and invest with the guys at Dropbox; they have a much better thing going!

Quality of stored photos

Donna123!

Photos don’t seem to be as sharp in Dropbox as they are in my camera roll.

Terrible App

Least intuitive app I’ve used in years. Terrible design and layout

Update: I deleted the app, rebooted my iPad, reinstsalled the app and was than able to log in. Thank you for your response. I will not need to file a form... all seems to be well at last! I am not in love with some of the quirks in the app, but I am very glad to have my files available again. I decided to try this app again. I downloaded it and tried to log in. It will only let me type in the password spce, not in the email space. How in the world can this be? So once again I will not be using Dropbox. I do not use Twitter, so I cannot access help. One star. It no longer synchs on my iPhone or iPad, so it is useless. Also, I am unable to read reviews of the app on the iPad!?? Between Dropbox and Apple, frustration is my middle name! ?

Very frustrating

Searching for files in dropbox for iOS is terrible. Not only is the search extremely slow, not all results show up. Frequently even browsing through folders there are missing items in the iOS app. Anyone that uses office 365 will find plenty of frustrations if you were trying to use Dropbox as your default storage. Finally, for some reason the file structure does not alphabetize the same way on the desktop as it does in different apps in iOS. I have no idea why this is but any special characters that you use to make files always appear at the top of a list are treated as if they came after the letter Z in some applications, and before the letter a and others. You can never be sure if you’ve lost something or it’s just not showing.
